Yes Halo 3 the game itself will not be successful here's why. The combat and sound effects are the same for all Halo games and it gets old. People are only buying it because it has the name like when you buy a computer its Alienware. Halo is over rated and people don't buy it to support sequels good games sound only be made once or twice not 3 times excluding FF series, since role play games it doesn't matter. UT3 is better then Halo and was announced for Xbox 360 last week and of course was planned long ago for PC and PS3. Halo 3 vechiles are the same like Halo 2 and Halo ones. Also Gears of War is over rated, Microsoft bribes gamespot to over rate Xbox 360's First person shooters and other companies. Anyway I think Halo multiplayer is good for the first couple of days then it gets lame play other games like Resistance, Call of Duty, Unreal tornament they hold their grounds more so then halo. Quake was released months before Marathon 2, scored 9 in graphics, 9 in gameplay. And really looked 10x better than Marathon 2. Marathon 2 was released in 1995. quake was released in 1996 How is that months before?

But starting a thread that basically states Halo 3 will be a failure is the most delusional thing I have ever heard. You know, the entire Xbox platform is what it is today because Microsoft saw a gem in Bungie and put one of the most anticipated shooters ever on it's very own gaming machine. I can imagine you weren't into the whole PC gaming scene during the Unreal vs. Quake craze of 1999-2000. Because ANY gamer from that time period Dreamcast, Playstation, PC was excited about Halo. There is 4 rpg's out at this moment. Saints row, Oblivion, Enchanted arms, and FF XI. That is it. I seriously doubt that 9 million xbox 360 consumers bought there xbox 360 to play these games :). nextgengaming18
