open up start menu, type "dxdiag" into the search box, then a window will come up. The display tab will tell you what graphics card you have under Chip Type.
If I had to guess, you probably have some type of integrated graphics, which aren't really good for running games at all. So most likely you're going to have to ditch trying to play newer games on it
I subscribe to the Gamespot's News RSS Feed on my Microsoft Outlook and for some stories I seriously get like ten items of the same thing often times. I actually got 27 of the "NHL 10: Online Fixes and the Future of 'Be a Pro'" news item and 15 of "Pepsi pops for free Rock Band songs." Please do something to help this annoying problem.

I originally bought a 360, but mine got the RROD as well. Twice. So after I got it back the 2nd time, I traded it in for a PS3.
It's a shame because I really want to play Halo 3 & Gears of War 2! And I was thinking about buying a 360 Elite, but my cousin bought one and it broke down after a week. So I won't take that chance!

hopefully PC versions will come out for them (like they did for GoW and Halo 1 & 2) and you can play them (if you got a good PC)
