Try Eve On-line 14 day trial they just updated the graphics and have been continually putting in expansions for free.

Very PVP oriented and and everyone plays on the same server, no experience grinding skills are gained whether on or off-line. I think some one once estimated that to have all the skills it was like a 100 real years.

I'm 53 and the fist game i ever played was a text game I typed in machine code to a cassette recorder for the TI99 out of a magazine.

I dabbled in UO but really got hooked on EQ for some reason, I think it was the way you really had no choice but to group after getting out of the starter zone to level consistently. And I am still in contact with people form those early days that I have never met in person.

No other game I have played since gives me the special thrill of the first run to Qeynos from Freeport.

I play Eve Online and just started Pirates of the Burning Sea both of which I like, Maybe for the change of pace from the generic Fantasy MMO.
