ive replayed the hs demo a couple of times and i love the visceral fighting (and i know that its early build and all, but ive tried original for ~10 mins and i loved it). ive heard of the length issue, which i dont mind, as long as the game has replay value. i was pretty dead-set on getting folklore tomorrow, but ive tried it over at a m8's, and the combat seemed kinda... boring... after a single chapter/1 folklore battle, so ill probably pass that one up and borrow it from him later. so is HS worth 60$ canadian in replayability? i loved the comboing, characters, and esp the blocking/countering. the god of war blocks were overpowered (beat god mode spamming block), the dmc were way too simple (tap O before being hit, beat DMD), and the only game that had nearly as well-made blocks was ninja gaiden. good stuff.

PS3 = bigger need for the space (larger ammount of worthwhile stuff to dl), free online, different controller (which i personally dislike), and more japanese-oriented games. this is where these 2 consoles balance themselves out. i play western games with some of my friends on my 360, and i'm going to (hopefully) play the eastern games with some other friends on ps3. the grafics/performance has been debated for a while now, but i believe that the overall standpoint is that the 360 is able to produce shorter load times + better individual textures, while ps3 has much more space and etc. to put on a disc. downsides of ps3 are the (currently) mediocre marketplace, weaker friend list (should change with Home). and the drought of games that has stopped a couple weeks ago.
