I made a similar topic in the 3rd birthday topic. All answers were no, you do not, but you should play them anyway.

I want to play the 3rd birthday, but have never played parasite eve either, I would suggest getting PE1, as it is now out on PSN and then PE2 when it comes out in the upcoming months, play them, then the 3rd birthday. Direct sequel or not, I find it better to start from the beginning anyhow.

Dammit Nintendo! Buy a DSi, and the xl comes out, and now a whole new system with some of my favorite games on it. exclusively. -.-

Seems I need to put some aside for a system update when this and the NGP comes out (same story here, haven't had my psp slim for a month when the psp-3000 series was launched. Stupid thing broke just, and I mean JUST as in two week just, over it's warranty. -.- [got it fixed in time for some great games though. Retrebution and Peace Walker are epic.])

anyway, seems pretty interesting, shame I haven't had a chance to play it yet.

Debating whether or not to put this in the legacy fourm, if it should be, feel free to pm me. Anyway, found an old copy of Diablo II and am wondering if anyone has any advice as to what class to use. I was leaning towards Necromancer or Barbarian myself, seem like noob-friendly class. Final request, what is the perks with paladin? Necro gets armies, Barbarien is a tank, and Sorceror does epic damage towards the end, but what are some pros about the paladin? Any other advice would be much appreciated.

YES!!!

I have done EVERYTHING in that game (Literal Platinum trophy everything) and I still pick it up from time to time to go tick of guards or just explore. It has to be one of the best games I have ever played.

Does she like anything, shows, books, films, etc. that you do not? Chances are yes, if so, bring that up, that you find some things that she likes dull, but she doesn't. If you have many fighting games similar to it, that you've dropped, she may have a point, but if you have some that you still play, bring that up, and if you have no similar games, argue that seeing how you do not have any similar games, it can't be said that you would get bored of it, as there is nothing to base that assumption on.

Perhaps mention that it is your birthday, and that if that is what you want, buying something you do not want, would simply be a bad gift and a bad idea.

Bring it up, how it looks better then modern warfare 2, and if you are in your early teens, and your parents are not crazy about overly violent games, bring up that MW2 is much more violent, as I believe it is. (MVC is a T series, isn't it?)

Good luck.

Badass.

He's a genius, PHD in (I think) theoretical physics, who, more or less, single handedly fought off an alien invasion, and (almost) freed an alien oppresed human race. It's not so much the character himself, as you don't learn much about him other then he is well educated, but what happens in the course of the game. Some events in the half life series make the characters in them look at freeman and pretty well say "Holy crap... did he just do that?"

Not everyone's favorite, but I've always liked the Jak series, and if you liked Snake Eater, you may like MGS 2 Sons of Liberty, similar gameplay, not as strong in story, I have found. If you ever find it, but there was a remake of Half-life for the PS2 made awhile ago, that would be a decent buy if you haven't played the original version.
