Rate my emerald team. I have a level 55 swampert and aggron, a level 73 rayquaza, and a level 70 kyogre and groudon.I also have a level 40 latios(just caught).

My Pokemon Emerald team is Swampert, Aggron, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Groudon and Latios. Swampert and Aggron are around level 55, Rayquaza is level 73, Kyogre and Groudon are level 70, and Latios is level 40(just caught).

Definitely get a DS Lite. It's allot easier to carry around in your pockets and is allot brighter.

In pearl you get different pokemon like purugly and Salamence and Palkia. In Diamond you get aggron and Dialga and Rampardos. I prefer Diamond over Pearl. But I would suggest that you would wait for platinum.
