You should since its not that much and probably stay at the price for a few months. Think they are coming out with another version of the PS2.
Well for PS2 start with Final Fantasy X or if you can find it Final Fantasy 7. Both have excellent story and you should start with those for now.
Go with Castlevania and Metroid if you like FPS. FF is not worth getting on the DS. I find it better on the GBA for some reason....
