ya i forgot to bring up glitches. seems common in ME 1. and yes, the elevator crap is tedious. like i said, going from mass effect 2 which was amazing, to mass effect 1, that kind of explains itself. people tell me that if i started with ME1, that i would have a different opinion but i doubt it. after 5 hours of gameplay in ME1 i almost stopped playing it completely.

also...the dquad commands in ME1 really suck. sometimes it just doesnt seem like it works like its suppose to. i dont know. maybe im doing something wrong.

the way i did it was i played and beat mass effect 2 and recently bought mass effect 1 to get more knowledge and stuff about the story. to be honest, i cant stand the mass effect 1 firefights. and the Mako is just a retarded idea. a lot of people think that the planet scanning in mass effect 2 was boring and tedious but i thought it was awesome because it was a great way to get resources for upgrades and research. as far as the planet scanning in the first one, i think its lame. all the planets look the same when you land on it with your Mako vehicle. the inventory system in ME1 is not my favorite either. i think it is way better in ME2.

im not trying to start a feud or anything but i think my problem is that i played and beat mass effect 2 which was friggin epic and went on to play mass effect 1 which seems a lot more down-graded. maybe i shoulda played 1 first then go on to the sequel. whatever. just my thoughts; not yours.

ya i just got to the part where the lost crew was freed from those chambers. hopefully i picked the right person to escort the saved crew members. i picked grunt because he is pretty much a barrier and strong in many ways.

yes i just released the 5th valve for tali to move threw the pipes and i am loving it so far. the music makes it intense also. i was gunna choose the R-launcher but for some dumb ass reason i went for that blackhole gun. we'll see what happens. thanks for the replies.

so im at the end. the normandy took a nasty crash on top of the vessel and im not able to decide what heavy weapon is best for this task. also from what ive heard through the grapevine is this level has some crappy moments so if anyone can tell me what heavy weapon to use and the best way to make it to the end, i would appreciate it.

if your trying to get some answers from "kids" in this field, your pretty much screwed buddy and i think your Hand would be very upset if you broke up with it for a high school crush.

in the beginning of the game i went to the normandy crash site to collect all the remains of the crew members of the ship. i left the planet early and didnt collect all the items and now im 32 hours in to the game and want to go back to collect the rest of the stuff. one problem; i dont remember how to get there. if someone knows the system and planet that would be great.
