Well.. Because unlike some people, I am a poor bastard! I'm not dishing out hundreds of dollars just to have some improved graphics. Sure the games look better, but Ps2 is my generation. It's like that old friend you've known for years. Why betray him now for those rich snobs Ps3 and 360.

Yes, BOTH controllers are compatible. I beat the game on Hard with my trusted Red SG the other day.

Ok here's what I'll do.

I'll try for about 10 times.

If not, I will call my ISP..

And if all else fails I shall purchase/obtain a router.

I just purchased a brand new Silver PS2 Slim yesterday, It came with the Online setup and everything..

I put the disc in and everything seems normal. I unplug the ethernet cable from the back of the computer, hitch it into the back of the set up Ps2. I go through the options, and seeing as I dont know anything about getting online, of course I tell it to Auto Select the ISP, settings, etc.. everything seems fine until... I press X, the little "Testing your DHCP, etc, whatever" window pops up.. Nothing happens.. I wait for about 10 minutes, AGAIN, nothing happens. I havea memory card, with the required space, I have a legitimate ISP and I am running on a Cable Modem.. what is wrong.. I bought a brand new Ps2 specifically for online and I get this..

Help me Gamespot!, You're my only hope!
