Hi. I recently set up my PS3 after returning from out of country and it doesnt seem to output to my tv. The problem I think is that I had it set up as HD over there with the HDMI cable and here I am using the regular AV cables. If this is true, do I need to purchase an HDMI cable to remedy this? I know it is not the disk drive or a yellow light because the disk drive indicator flashes and my ps3 is on with the green light. Thank you for any help with this problem!
Hi there. I had a question regarding the general list of cpu quality (kind of like the graphics card sticky). I know absolutely nothing about AMD processors, but I will list what I think are the fastest to slowest intel CPU types.
Intel Core i7 Extreme
Intel Core i7, i5, i3
Quad Core
Core 2 Duo
Pentium Dual Core
Celeron (what i have lol)
any help is appreciated. Thank you!
Wow thank you for the fast responses! I finished editing my post and I already had all these lol. I will probably ask to get a computer built UltimateGamer95 like the one you saw in my thread but I have to confirm it with the rest of my family first.
Hi guys. I am currently debating on whether or not to build my own computer (my thread is further down the page) or buying one off the shelf during the Black Friday sales. I was wondering what the community's opinions are on the deals and quality of the Black Friday computers and whether or not to build one or simply buy it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
Edit: Some examples I saw were the hp pavilion p6210y at BestBuy and this one at HP.
If possible, does anyone know about the basic rundown of CPUs or know a site where I can find this information. I don't really want it in terms of benchmarking programs because I don't know much about those. I know Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad are pretty good, but I'm lost in the sea of other names such as where Pentium Dual and the differences between AMD 1 and 2 (if they exist). Then, to further complicate things, there is Phenom 2 and Phenom 2 Black and other such things that I can't seem to wrap my head around. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
