I only had it for 10 days and then it died. I was about 30 minutes into the MAG demo when it just keeled over. No lag in the 64 player match I played and I didn't get to the proper rank to try out the 256 player mode. I took the PS3 Slim back and will be getting my money back in the mail soon. Now I will just go buy a stand alone Blu-ray player and stick to my XBOX 360 for all my gaming needs. I just wonder if Sony has made a critical error in the design of the PS3 Slim or if Zipper Interactive's MAG demo bricked my console? Thanks for nothing Sony.

Until this Christmas I have never owned a Sony console but I have played Playstation games before at friends houses. Games like GTA, Resident Evil and Gran Turismo. But the first Playstation exclusive I have owned is Metal Gear Solid 4 and I must say it was a good choice. Registering for Metal Gear Online was a pain but everything else about the game is excellent. For 30 bucks you can't go wrong (actually got it free with my Slim). Next game I buy for the PS3 might be Killzone 2 and I will probably rent Uncharted 2.

Why is the open beta for MAG just 7 days? It just does not seem like enough time to get adjusted to every nuance of the game. I really hope Zipper listened to everyones constructive criticism about the core gameplay mechanics from the first beta run and ignored most of the complaints about the graphics (except graphical glitches). I understand the graphics are what they are because of the number of players in a map. A few things bugged me however when watching gameplay videos. I didn't like how your character would hold some of the weapons. It looked a little goofy to me and the weapon sounds seemed a little weak or not realistic at times. I just hope Zipper didn't rush this out the door because I am sure everyone could have waited until the summer for a more polished game. Looking forward to January 4th and maybe even January 26th. PS One last thing. Why isn't there a 4th faction to round out the other 3? 64 players x 4 factions= 256.

I love his song "Fascination" from Young Americans. I think of GTA IV every time I hear this and "Goodbye Horses" by Garvey. "Good Bye Horses" was also used in Silence of the Lambs.

Is anyone else sick of bending over backwards for beta keys? I just read that the Bad Company 2 beta will last a little longer than Dec. 21st. I need to get to level 3 on this website in order to possibly recieve a key.
