Currently I have an Intel quad core Q6600, 2045MB RAM, and an Nvidia 8800 GT. I still can't seem to get crysis running smoothly on the 1600x1200 rez. Does anyone with these specs know what settings crysis should be run on with a good balance of eye candy and frame rate? If so, how many fps should I expect?
Sup guys, I'm looking to get a new PC top to bottom. I dont know much about computers, particularly when you get technical, and for the last four years i've been useing a laptop i can't upgrade. It seems time i get myself a decent desktop capable of running some of these newer games i've been missing out on. Problem is, i dont know where to begin. Alot of people seem to be building a PC from the ground up by themselvs, but since i wouldent know how to do that, i might have togo for a factory assembled PC. Anyway, im looking to spend up to 2,100 total (moniter included). Anyone got any ideas as to what i should go for?
Im told an XPS 720 is a decent buy, but thats about the only tip i got.
I'm more or less in the same boat; I love my 360 and will still buy most my multiplatform games for it. The PS3 on the other hand has got a line up of games I'm looking forward too (MGS 4, GOW 3, FFXIII, Killzone 2, Resistance, Uncharted, SOCOM, and Heavenly Sword). Also, I would probably get games like GTA 4, DMC 4, and RE 5 on the PS3 just because I have the series on PS2. This brings me to my main question. PS1 and PS2 games running from the PS2 on an HD TV look like crap. Is the video quality any better running from the PS3?
