@Renunciation: I haven't tried handheld mode yet, however I wouldn't be too optimistic that the issues are docked only. But let's hope for you they are.

@brandsome: That may very well be, I haven't tried other versions yet. However I would be surprised to see framerate hovering around 40 fps like they do on Switch.

@Renunciation: docked. The first stage is still okay, but the second stage hovers around 40-45 fps, maybe even less. The responsiveness felt bad enough to make me stop playing it until they fix it.

On Switch, the choice between the 2 is very easy as Dead Cells suffers from massive framedrops. It won't be optimized before November, so no reason to give it any attention in this state. By contrast, Hollow Knight works perfectly.

As a collector, I love buying retail versions. As I never sell my games, I would LOVE MS to release retail versions with a code to redeem instead of a disc-verification system. That way, we could have both XB1/Win10 versions, the retail box :) and never having to insert another disc again!

Please make it so! And if you're worried about people who don't like change, offer both versions temporarily.
