Waiting for another mission

Sometimes there are games that come along and with so much hype and marketing you're almost afraid to be disappointed. I had picked up Assassin's Creed with some other games around Christmas time and never opened it until the end of January. By this time I had herd some good and bad reviews and decided to get my own opinion of the game. I have to admit the graphics are the first thing that bought me into the game due to a slow moving story to start. The map was incredibly huge and everything had such great detail. Character movement was smooth but I found myself getting annoyed with the climbing and dropping aspects at times. I also would have like to see more stealth moves other then walking around looking like I'm praying.

The story was very intriguing how DNA and memory could link to past memories of ancestors from your bloodline. As I was playing through the game I found myself getting less side tracked with flags and hidden templar because I needed the next piece of the story. While playing as Altair I often forgot that there was Desmond's side to the story and when I finished the last assassination I couldn't wait to see what was to become of him. I guess we all have to wait for the next Assassin's Creed to see where this Great story goes. I have to say it was a great journey and it defiantly met all my expectations, I just hate waiting for sequels.

Phantom Hourglass

When I first got my Nintendo DS six moths back I found it hard to find games that could really grab my attention. This past Christmas I received The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass and I have to say I am amazed with the functions that the DS has to offer. Although I have not completed the game yet I am well on my way with Link's quest to save princes Zelda and I am hooked. I started the game with a little disappointment about using the stylus to control the movement of Link but as I got use to drawling my path and slashing the sword I have to say this is a great way to play. The challenges bought forth in the game are very clever and at times become frustrating for me to figure out how to get where I have to go. I would suggest this game to anyone that is into adventure games and of course any Zelda fans that have not tried it out yet. I feel that Nintendo really used all the functions of the DS in such a clever way that helped bring me into the game more then I expected. I hope I can find more great titles that captivate my interest as much as Phantom Hourglass has.

Getting ready to ship the Xbox back again

I don't know what it is with my luck and the Xbox 360. Im getting ready to ship it back for the second time now and im feeling kinda bummed. The first time was right during the release of Halo 3 so i had to wait alittle longer to get my fix. When i got the Xbox back and opened it up i got some flashing red lights at first but they went out with a quick rest of the power and then game on. Now, just finishing call of duty ( That great piece of perfection) and about to move on the assassins creed I had more red light come on. I guess when the thing goes back to get replaced again i can get some Wii time in. The compensation for the down time of the xbox was a free 6 months subscription of live and this time i get a free game Kameo. I guess its a price to pay with better gaming, not like the old days when you just had to blow in a cartridge to get a system to work.
