either recover your gamertag or load the games that are missing gamerscorechaoscougar1

Not sure what you mean. How do you recover your gamertag? By loading the games do you mean just put the disc in and load it up? That will somehow update the score?

By the way, I appreciate the responce.

If it was permanently glitched to show 2000 less than what your gamer score should be? Would that make you mad? Would you be upset? What would you do, sell your Xbox and get a PS3?Agent-Zero

Would it make me mad?

no

Would I be upset?

no

would I sell my xbox and buy a PS3

no, already own 2 PS3's.

I know this might sound strange and unusual to you but I was just curious if there was a way to fix it. Are you somehow offended or somehow insulted by achievments or people showing interest in thier gamerscore? If so then the real question is why?

I played games for almost 30 years without achievments so I am pretty sure i would be ok if my gamerscore was incorrect. If I start shaking and sweating from some sort of accurate gamerscore withdrawl....well I'll be sure to come in here and update this thread accordingly.

I hope that answred all your questions.

KOTOR? Decision making? Lawls.

Go play Arcanum.

Seriously, all of you, get off this site, and go play Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. Once you've done that, you can come back here, and you can say whatever the hell you want to about KOTOR or any other of BioWare's sacred cows being amazing, but until you've played it you have zero credibility when it comes to discussing RPG gaming over the last ten years.

It's the eight-hundred ton giant squid in the ****ing corner, man, and it's looking right at you

Wow I have seen some holier-than-thou attitudes before but this one takes the cake. I am not sure which is more comical, the fact that your being serious or the fact that you actually went ahead and posted this, lol. Dont get me wrong, we all have our opinions in regards to which games we hold in high regard but this is nothing short of ridculous. The fact that you would presume to know what games we have or have not played is bad enough but the fact that you think your opinion legitimately stands above all others in here...well that one really takes the cake. Your opinion isnt nearly as superior as you think it is. In fact, going off of the 2 games you mentioned, its not even remotely justified. You know what they say about opinions and everyone having one. The sad thing is that nobody even agrees with yours.

As for credability, talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Get off this site? Christ, for a minute there I thought I was on IMDB, lol.

Yeah probably a good idea. I was just hoping someone could tell me whether or not this was normal. If its not normal then I would of course contact MS about it. Since I am pretty new to Xbox Live, I jusy wasnt sure if this was the case or not.

Either way thanks for the reply.

I for one think it was absolutely influential. I am not speaking to specific game play mechanics but to the experience as a whole. Game studios have been trying to bridge the gap between videogames and other forms of entertainment, like movies, for quite some time. In this regard KOTOR was HUGELY successful. It certainly wasn't the first game to do this successfully but it certainly was one of the first to really do it flawlessly. In regards to storytelling and the immersive nature of storytelling, it absolutely and without question raised the bar and in so doing became extremely influential. I see KOTOR's influence all over the gaming industry.

Just say no to MMO's. Playing games for recreation is one thing. Playing them as a full time job is something completely different.

Reasons why:

1. The hype it got pre-release was enormous and it didn't live up to it.

2. Feels more like Fallout 3 just mapped onto Vegas.

3. Didn't live up to review scores considering hype.

4. It's not its own game, it's Fallout 3: New Vegas.

Obsidian, you suck.

Logan1616

As others have stated, the title to this game isnt Fallout 4. It was quite clear that this game was going to basically be Fallout 3 in Vegas. At least thats what I was expecting. With that being said the glitches and bugs are severly disappointing and some of the loading screens are unbearably long. There is no excuse for such problems, at least not from a game of this magnitude. If its not ready to be released....THEN DONT RELASE IT!! I acually just got in a fight with one of the ceasers guys and for some reason he just flew 100 feet stright up in the air and started firing at me from up there. Then a couple seconds later he just fell back to the ground and died when he hit ground. I was just sitting there like "Ok". Thats just one example out of MANY.

If they get the bugs cleared up then it will be a decent game. Fallout 4 it isnt but then again I dont think it was ever trying to be Fallout 4.

When I heard that Bioware were going to make the old republic i was going crazy but when they said it is only for the pc I went mad!!!

I was the biggest fan of the kotor games and i wanted something new i don't like oblivion and dragon age (Don't get me wrong im not hatin).

Any one else think they should get the old republic for the 360 !!!!

shairoo11

I for one perfectly understand why its not coming to a console. Its an MMO and MMO's just havent been successful on consoles. If it had been a regular game and not have been made for a console then I culd understand getting upset.

Bottom line - If you want to play MMO's, buy a PC. Thats the way its always been and thats the way it will remain, at least into the forseeable future. It was a smart move by Bioware as this lets thier console teams concentrate on console games.

A strange thing happened when I updated my account to an Xbox Live Gold account, Once I was done setting up my account....well its only showing part of my gamerscore. 5557 total, on my main page (the one that shows your Rep, Gamerscore and Zone along with your avatar and all of the options to manage your account). If I go to my achievment progress page, the next page over, it shows my proper score which is 7989. Why the discepancy? My real gamerscoe is 7989 so why isnt it showing that score on my main account page? I was really freaked out at first as I thought it had somehow delted 2500 points off my score but it didnt as again its still showing my proper score on my achievments pag Its just not showing my proper score on my main page.

So again why the 2 different scores? Anyone have any idea whats going on?

The single reason why I am excited about Mass Effect is because its from Bioware. They are without a single doubt one of the best game developers ever and that is not even debatable. I have never been dissapointed by a Bioware game and I have a strange feeling that this game is going to continue that streak. Bioware's reputation speaks for itself and when this game starts putting up 9 and 9.5's next week, people like yourself that have called into question Bioware's abilities will have nothing to say except to admit how dead wrong your predictions were.
