In order to get in the beta i was in, you had to preorder the game for 5 bucks off ncsoft. Which was worth the 5 bucks, because i found out how much i disliked the game, and saved spend 50+15 or more to try it.

have to say i was really psyced for this game, but i was in the previous beta and really didn't like it. Unless it went through some massive changes, the game was nowhere near as good as guildwars or wow, obviously i realize it's a different style mmo, but it wasn't very fun at all. And i like fps games. I couldn't possibly see paying monthly for it.

YOu know, there's no info as to the guys health prior to his gaming binge session. This dude could have been like 300 pounds, with horrible health conditions. The binge could have only been the icing on the cake. But the news people know that the story will sell alot more if it's a game related death, rather then another bad health condition case, which wouldn't even make the news.

you can get just TF2 or HL2 episode 2, but they are both about 30 dollars seperately. Which i think is just about what price you could expect for an expansion. So the orange box is quite the deal.

WOW, So i'm searching around trying to find a time for the release. GUESS WHAT, they aren't giving a time, that 12:00 time is a rumor from what i gather. One of the devs on the halflife forums, is quoted saying, "they aren't sure when they will release it, but sometime later tonight"

Now, i have to say something. Me and countless other have paid our money, you have it valve, the least you could do, is give us an exact time. Is that to much to ask? I mean isn't that something normal, especially when your spamming adds for it all over. They have to know there is alot of people tweaking out, waiting for the beta. Why be jackoffs and not be professional about it. If only these companys could be as good at customer relationships as they are at making the games, or promoting games.

k, so could anyone be kind enough to say what time that is eastern time zone? I have to say, those that say they are waiting, this deal on steam is pretty bad ass. First off, it's 5 dollars off, and i've come to like buying games online, don't have to worry about damaged cd, lost cd, ect... Can just redownload the game. They've even made it better with this preloading stuff.

PC360Wii- i was trying to make a point that the same guy that has to hack, can't do anything about the mines, i didn't mean to infer he would be by himself. What if there was 4 special ops there, i guess a guy would have to sac himself so the other 3 could use it? I agree with someone that thinks mines shouldn't be aloud to be set on the objectives. It's so much easier to play as strog and have all people that don't know what's going on then the humans. I just think that shows a little unbalance issue, at least on that map. Also they gave the humans almost no good spots to deploy stuff during each stage, while the strog have excellent spots. To have played about a hundred rounds, and to have seen the humans win about 10 percent of the time is ruff.

i have to agree, and you know you peoople saying just nade them. Are you forgetting the special ops get's emp nades??? It's hard enough to get into the base, but now you have to go in with someone else to get rid of mines. The other complaint i have, is the strog basic gun doesn't need to reload unless you over heat. That makes it even harder to charge in, when you gun needs to be reload after killing a guy or 2.

alright so i first heard this discussed on the pc gamer podcast. I was pretty POed about it. I did a bit of research, not much but enough to do some conferming. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/800/800047p1.html there's a link to ign.com article on it. And here's the first paragraph. Take noticed to the last sentence.

June 27, 2007 - The long-dormant, ultra-violent first-person shooter (FPS) Soldier of Fortune is returning to the front lines, Activision confirmed to IGN today. The publisher was mum on any details about gameplay, platforms, or release dates, and would only say that the sequel is currently in development at its Minneapolis office, Activision Value. Value is the publisher's budget title development studio, responsible for games like Pimp My Ride, Barbie, and Cabela's African Safari.
