recently spore hasnt been opening on my computer because it says i dont have the right direct X version but in the past the game opened and ran just fine, i dont know if anybody else has had these problems or if someone can help, so whoever can help reply please and thank you
if by like operating system u mean like wut windows then im using vista, and not really sure bout the video card, and the error message says "Could not find the default preferences. The data directory is missing or corrupt. [1004]" then it says "could not create the Graphics Device. Direct X is unavailable. [1002]" idk if any of that helps
ok this is really annoying, i was able to play spore for a while then i didnt play for a bit but now ive been trying to get back on but its saying that im missing directX or sumthing like that, and as far as i know i already have the november 2008 version of directX, PLEASE HELP
