For most of the casual gamers who bought the Wii, I can't imagine they would have much interest in getting the Wii U. The controller reminds me of a gimped tablet made for small children, the sort of thing made to be resilient to drops and whatnot. It just doesn't carry the same allure that Wiimote did with the motion controls. That was new and showing people swinging it around playing it made for commercials that appealed to your casual types. But everybody has an iPad or Kindle or something and watching people play something on one isn't very interesting. -_-

I'm no psychologist, but I don't need to be to see that most of Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc get the same games and movies that we do but they don't have nearly the same murder rate or rate of mass killings that we do. The only things that separate us from them are how ridiculously easy it is to legally get a gun here and how we have enough guns to arm every man, woman, and child.
