No, we don't want the US spreading their ''democracy'' like an STD. The poor people who cannot voice their say in the matter always get screwed. Why doesn't the US just stop interfering with everyone and everything? Just let them fix their own ''democracy''. It's really bad when the largest protagonist of ''democracy'' only has 2 parties/sides to vote on...you're either republican or democrat. Even in this little country called The Netherlands we have 20 different party's to vote on... That said, Obama should focus in improving their own land...and paying the debt they owe us for destroying the world economy.[QUOTE="Locutus_Picard"][QUOTE="AFBrat77"]
come on dude give us a break...
its bad enough these other countries criticize us if we get involved and then criticize when we don't.
I say just leave it be, we do much more good then bad in this world, that is not debatable.

And then when we don't interfere?
A lot of you European countries will then whine about us not getting involved, and remind us of our responsibility as the worlds leading power.
I'm sick of that, its annoying. Personally I agree that maybe we should let other countries fend for themselves and help ourselves instead, but I'm not going to complain one way or another because then I'll be acting like the other whiners of the world.
I've rarely heard ANY European whine about America NOT getting involved. What is mentioned though is that the US should focus it's resources on Africa and other places with poverty and starvation problems instead of invasions. No-one complained when the US stepped in and stopped Serbia in the 90s. Why? Because it was justified and the right thing to do. In the end most Europeans don't care about the US response. What is important is the EU's response.[QUOTE="Osaka-06"]Having been in the military myself. The vast majority of the people I encountered in it are in no-way people that deserves more respect than those in anyother profession. They're regular people, and most of them joined the military either becuase they had no other choice, or becuase they're thrill seekers, NOT because they wanted to protect freedom or their homeland. LJS9502_basicWhen would that have been? My conscription started in january 2009 and ended October 2010.
