I cannot imagine why people would want to put up with Microsoft's crap after this. I don't understand why companies cannot just let us enjoy our purchases on our own terms. Too bad nintendo screwed up. I would have loved to see MS drop to the #3 spot so hopefully they would learn their lesson and change their stupid ways.

Releasing underpowered hardware again, supported by mostly first party games will not work again like it did for Wii which was a paradigm shift. In the long run this could very well be another gamecube for Nintendo unless they can get real 3rd party support beyond shitty ports.

I wasn't trying to diss it. just saying that it feels like there's typically a lot more hype surrounding the impending release of a new console from the big 3.

@RageSet

I remember a lot more hype around the Wii though. Fanboys of other consoles will always hate the "enemy" but the Wii, from what I recall had a ton of positive press going into launch. I don't get that sense here, maybe because it's so similar to the Wii, or possibly I am mis-remembering.

Is it me or does this feel like the least hyped major console release ever?

I liked the idea of being able to play pc games on my tablet but I think the feature product was LA Noir for $50 which I could easily get for 10 bucks on steam/amazon. I keep hoping tell tale games will make their games available on tabs, onlive would have been a good partner for them in that regard since they already had an app available to stream games.

calling that ending art is an insult to art. In no shape or form, not even remotely was that mess of an ending art. It was a rush job, put together with little thought towards the overarching plot, or the desire of the game's audience. If you want to call the game a work of art, it certainly was, sans ending.

selling open boxes is not cool but what square-enix did is equally wrong. Gamestop should have simply refused to sell the game in this case.
