The setup of both the quest lines are roughly the same. It's not like you are choosing between two factions with different quests, such as the thieves guild OR the college of winterhold. It's more of a question of do you want to do these certain civil war quests with the Legion or the Stormcloaks. As you said before, there really is no "right" or "good" organization: they both have their upsides and downsides, but if you think about it, it's just like politics in the real world. Is there every really a "correct" political party? In a sense, no, it's just who you believe in and what you're willing to fight for.
In my playthough, I ended up choosing to fight for the Stormcloaks. After seeing Jarl Ulfric at the beginning of the game in Helgen, he seemed like a really interesting character and I wanted to see more from him.

I enjoyed it when it had it, as it was a good service. However, I used it to catch up on different older games I had missed.
Liked stated earlier, it's easy to get caught up in new releases and multiplayer and then you're paying 15$ for a disc to sit on your coffee table.
