ROFLMAO! Some people need to think for a second or two. The Nintendo Switch is 100% the replacement for the WiiU, granted. It's also the next generation Nintendo handheld. There are more 3DS family handheld devices sold than the other consoles currently on the market, with the obvious caveat that they have been on the market longer, and they are also a niche device. However how many Xbox & PlayStation games sell as well as Pokémon games do? Sun & Moon recently hit over 4.5m copies sold, and Nintendo sold 7.3m copies of first party games in the last quarter of 2017 on the 3DS. The PS4 is jut over 50m units sold, and the 3DS exceeded that in 2015, with the 3DS sales obviously tapering off at this point, the newest copy of Pokémon was also the fastest to reach over 4m units sold.

Granted the Switch won't kill the 3DS right away, like it is the WiiU, it will be more akin to the way the XBone and the PS4 are killing off their predecessors, but the point remains that Nintendo won't be able to keep the Switch and the 3DS from competing against one another. With the increased graphical power, and ability to play on your living room TV, the Switch will eventually kill off the 3DS. All Nintendo has to do this year is release a Zelda, Mario, and Pokémon game for the Switch and everyone will be buying it up like it's candy at the dollar store, and one of those is a launch title, with the second one coming this summer, and the third rumored to be in the works as well. Add into that the upgraded Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 2, and the impending Metroid and Smash Bros. games that will probably be announced at e3, and you have Nintendo coming back strong, and proving that graphics aren't as important to gamers as good solid games are.

@rhodawg: I said it was news/rumors there is no telling were it actually started at, but I heard it from the YouTube channel TheKnow. Also according to the Steam community the players are all in support of a B2P model so that hackers and such won't be flooding in and risk losing out on their money to buy the game.

@rhodawg: According to some news/rumors while they were originally planned to be one F2P game, when the split happened it was decided that the idiots formerly known as SOE needed more money so they were going to be B2P. The original intent though was for Early Access to cost money, but at launch it would become F2P.

I would much rather a KOTOR 3, but to be quite honest, other than by making it take place years after SWTOR I don't see a way to make it without support from BioWare considering the Disney canonical mandate.

Also I find it hypocritical for people to compare salary of people in broad categories. If you want a honest analysis you need to compare many things including total amount of work, quality of work, and ability to work well with others. Quite honestly if someone is doing the same job as me, with less quality they shouldn't be getting paid the same as me, nor should they be getting the same pay as me if they aren't working as much as me, or can't get along with others. I am not saying that any one group of people can't do this, just that those are the factors we should be concentrating on instead of worrying are people getting paid the same. All information like this is showing is that YOU don't treat people equally and that YOU expect others to pay people the same regardless of other metrics. To me that seems that YOU are the problem not the solution, nor the shining beacon of light trying to find corruption. Personally as a Game Dev, I would only expect to get paid for what I actually accomplish.

I don't think that there is a single game that Nintendo can release to get out of the red. I think that they need to get a bunch of games out there, console exclusive, and also multiplats, and not dumbed down years old mulitplats like that Sniper Elite garbage.

Way to go Dr. Ray. I am a big fan of Bioware, and would love to work for them after I finish college. For now I will happily give them my money to play their games. Hopefully those stupid clowns will get a life and stop thinking that they can "Occupy Twitter" and get what they want.
