I was really excited about doing the 5th chapter for some reason, so I spent about 3 hours working on it. Here it is. :)
---------------
Victor and Axis walked into the second door, not knowing what lay before them, and stopped at the sound of the door behind them closing. The room was filled with fog, like the room they had been in before, and as a result, they couldn't see much.
"Damnit, what's with the fog?" Victor wondered.
"Maybe the Hero in here isn't done with their lecture yet," Axis said back.
"I wonder if all the Heroes are in separate rooms," Victor wondered, "Because if they are, this is going to take forever."
Since the fog hadn't cleared yet, Axis and Victor, not having anything better to do, sat down on the ground and talked to pass the time. The ground wasn't tile like the hallway, nor the room they had fought in earlier, but was soft, itchy, and slightly wet: like grass. They wished they could see what exactly it was, but the fog made it too hard to make out.
"Why do you think those monsters turned to weird blue ash when we killed them?" Axis asked.
"Hmph, maybe that's just what happens to things that die here: They just turn to ash," Victor answered.
"So that means, if we die, then we'll probably turn to ash too."
"I guess."
"Hey, Axis?" Victor asked, "Did you notice that it was REALLY cheesy when you said I don't think they want to be friends earlier?"
"Bah, shaddup. I'm awesome enough to make it sound cool," Axis snapped back with a smirk.
"Yeah, but still…"
"Oh, and what do you think Saku is?" Axis suddenly asked.
"Huh?"
"When we summoned our Heroes, they said that we gained the ability to use the power of Saku. I was wondering what they meant."
"I'm not sure. We should yell it in battle, see what happens."
"What makes you think it would work like that?"
"It's just something that seems like it would be used in battle. Like in a video game."
"Speaking of which," Axis wondered, "I wonder if and when we'll fight again. I want to kick some ass with The Reapers."
"There is no doubt that we'll have to fight again," Victor replied, "I don't think that Villain wants us to stop his plans."
"We 15 warriors, fragments of Heroes, must stop a villain that wants to end all life on our planet….Don't you think we're taking this kind of well?" Axis asked.
"Well, I truthfully don't think it has fully hit me yet. While I am now sure this isn't a dream, we can't really do anything other than this. I'm risking my life to save people I don't like and don't give a damn about, and there isn't a thing I can do to stop it. I'm trapped in this so-called paradise, Granacci, and…I've just decided to accept it."
"Yeah, I can second that. I don't give a damn about most of the people I'm practically being forced to save, and I can't do anything other than accept it."
Axis and Victor, after finishing their conversation, sat for a little while longer in silence, waiting for the fog to clear, until they heard a voice yell.
"Why won't you answer me!?!", a voice yelled.
"We need answers!!!", a second voice could be heard.
"What can we do now," a third voice screamed.
After that, the fog cleared, revealing the 3 separate voices to be 3 people, definitely Heroes, standing next to each other in the center of the room.
The first person was a young girl, around Victor and Axis's age. She had shoulder length hair, parted in the middle, that she had dyed blood-red. She was wearing a long-sleeve button-up shirt, the same color as her hair, and had the cuffs of the arms hanging off, unbuttoned. She was wearing average length blue jeans, with red colored sneakers, to match her hair and shirt.
The second person had a tall, slim figure, and appeared to be a young adult, barely 20. He had an average short-sleeve sand colored T-Shirt on, with a nice tribal-ish design on it, and short, brown hair, with a minor 5-o'clock shadow on his face. He was wearing normal fitting jeans, with a belt, barely noticeable, going through his belt-loops, and normal dark brown shoes, that looked very comfortable.
The third and final person also appeared to be around the age of Victor and Axis. He was shorter than the other 2, with a nice build to his physique, and had dark, tanned skin. He had an average shaved haircut, which had grown out just enough to cover his scalp and show the black color of his hair. He was wearing a long, slightly large T-Shirt, black in color, baggy jeans, light gray in color, and comfortable white sneakers. He also had thick eyebrows and a light mustache.
"Hi," Victor spoke to the 3, "I'm going to guess the 3 of you are chosen Heroes like us."
"….Yes," the older male spoke in a soft voice.
"So, what are your names?" Axis asked, trying to sound friendly, which didn't fit her at all.
"My name is Kate," the girl answered.
"I go by Darkman," the older male followed.
"And I'm Roberto," the tanned male said, in a friendly voice.
"It's good to meet you all," Victor said, trying to overcome his shyness.
After greeting the others, Victor took a good look around the room, noticing how it was also quite large. The room wasn't enclosed like the first one: Instead, it seemed to open up into a large forest, with trees and vines everywhere, and grass covering the ground. Victor then turned around and noticed, just like in the last room, the door had strangely disappeared, giving them no way out.
"Hey, Axis, look," Victor said to his partner, pointing to the area of space that the door had previously taken up.
"Damnit, I guess they have to unlock their inner Heroes as well before we can leave," Axis cursed.
"Hey, Kate, Darkman, and Roberto, the five of us need to swap information about what we've seen so far," Axis spoke to her new friends.
The 5 Heroes sat down on the moist grass, and told each other everything that had happened. Axis and Victor told the 3 newer Heroes about the battle they had just been in, and everything that had happened, including how they summoned their own inner Heroes. Darkman, Kate, and Roberto told some general information about where they were from, what they were like, what they had been told by their inner Heroes etc., and afterwards, they stood back up, stretching after they had spent so much time talking on the ground.
"Wait, so we're probably going to have to fight monsters as well," Kate asked to Axis.
"Yeah, probably," Axis answered.
"I need a Hero, to save me now!!!" Roberto screamed.
"…What was that about?", the other Heroes asked, after a brief awkward silence.
"Well," Roberto started, "I was thinking that I could go ahead and summon my inner Hero, but that apparently isn't working out."
"You have to need a Hero before you can summon it," Victor informed Roberto, "Neither I, nor Axis, yelled that until we were about to be killed, with no way out of it. We yelled it in desperation."
"Oh…that isn't good."
"You'll end up yelling it without even thinking about it, to be honest. I didn't expect to yell it, my terror just…told me to."
"So when are we going to get attacked?" Darkman asked, wanting to get this over with.
As he said that, 5 snake-like creatures, that were about the same size as our Heroes, appeared out of nowhere directly in front of them. They were wearing slick armor, that didn't appear to be metal, but more of a leather-like material. They each had a small dagger, that had a design of god-knows-what on the blade. They slithered on the ground, waving their daggers around to confuse their enemies, before going in for a quick and silent strike.
"Gah, there are 5 of them!?!" Darkman yelled.
"One for each of us!" Axis yelled back, smirking at the fight they were about to engage in.
Victor and Axis, already having their weapons out and ready, went in to attack. Victor, interested in what it would do, yelled Saku when he slashed his sword, that he held backwards in his right hand, at one of the enemies, causing an electrical surge to fly at one of the enemies, whom managed to duck under it seconds before it passed by.
"So THAT'S what it can do!!!" Victor yelled, a huge grin on his face from finding his newfound ability.
"My turn!" Axis screamed, excitement in her eyes.
Axis yelled Saku as she threw one of her chakrams at the enemy. Her chakram then released a slight glint of light from the blade, before passing through the enemy like it was air, and skidding a tree, which automatically killed the tree, causing the leaves to fall, and the giant plant to wilt in literally seconds.
"Death is awesome!", she yelled in happiness.
"But, wait," Roberto said to her, "Why did your chakram not do ANYTHING to the enemy?"
"W-What?"
Axis had been too excited by the tree's instant death that she didn't notice that the chakram had no affect on the snake-like warrior in the slightest way.
"Heh, you shall have to do better than that if you want destroy us. We aren't like those bumbling beasts you fought in the last room, we are smart, and have a strategy your mortal brains can't easily figure out," the snake creature that Axis had tried to attack spoke to the 5 Heroes.
"What should we do now?" Kate asked everyone, not entirely sure that she would receive an answer.
"….Not die," Victor replied, deep in thought of how to defeat these foes.

So, there you all go. :) Darkman (Darkman2007), Kate (sirra), and Roberto (berto64) have now be introduced into the story. I know that they don't have much of personalities yet, but I'm still developing that. :)
I promise that my next blog will be a normal blog, instead of a story, because I know you are all missing that. ;) Plus, I'm kinda having writer's block on some things that need fleshing out in the next battle. So...yeah. :D I hope you all enjoyed it. :)
 (He wishes he was a Ninja Kitten: They ALWAYS get taken seriously. 8))
Later, Home Skillets! :)
