Microsoft's E3 Press Conference.

I was VERY impressed with Microsoft's Press Conference this year. It was MUCH more entertaining and organized than last year's. I saw a lot of things there that look very interesting.

- First, The 2 new halos look very fun. In Halo: ODST, I like the fact that you will be able to go back in time and go through the lives of other Shock Troopers and that you will be able to get the pistol from Halo: CE (you know, the one with the SCOPE?!). They didn't give much information about Halo Reach, but I do know that it will be aprologueto the entire Halo series.

- Alan Wake is a game that has the over the shoulder look like RE's 4 & 5, Gears of War's 1 & 2, and Dead Space. It's cool how your main weapon in the game is light. It also has a pretty good story, Alan goes with his wife on vacation and his wife goes missing and the book that he is writing starts to happen right before his very eyes.

- Tony Hawk's Ride game will use a motion-sensitiveboard that is able to pick up exactly where on the board your feet are and that you can do tricks on it EXACTLY like in real-life.

- They decided to release the fact that they are making a Crackdown 2. All they did though is show a trailer for it, so I don't know anything about it really. The trailer was GREAT, though, and I loved the first Crackdown, so I can't wait until the 2nd Crackdown comes out.

- They are making a new Metal Gear game for the Xbox 360 called Metal Gear Solid Rising. It will not star Solid Snake, but so far, thats ALL we really know about it.

- Modern Warfare 2 gameplay was shown at the press conference, and it looks GREAT. The best part was probably when your character had to escape on that snowmobile and could still shoot while he was driving. From what I saw, I am DEFIANTLY going to get it.

Nintendo's and Sony's press conferences are tomorrow, and I will write a blog about them afterwords as well.

Microsoft was great this year, and maybe 2009 could be a better year for Xbox 360 than 2008.
