I've been wanting to do a blog like this for a while, both to show my music interests, as well as hear everyone else's opinions on my choices. Plus, it's a nice change from the random **** I usually post. :P

Green Dayis an American punk rockband formed in 1987. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tre' Cool.
With Punk being my favorite genre, of course I have Green Day here. :P
#9: Black Veil Brides
Black Veil Bridesis an American band formed in 2006 inCincinnati,Ohio. The group is composed ofAndy Biersack("Andy Six") (vocals), Ashley Purdy (bass, backing vocals), Jake Pitts (lead guitar),Jinxx(guitar, violin) and Christian Coma (drums).
The thing about BVB is, you either love them or hate them. I'm the former. :P
#8: Flobots
TheFlobotsare an Americanrockandhip hopmusical group fromDenver, Colorado, formed in 2000 byJamie Laurie.
They, in my opinion, meld Hip Hop (which I'm usually not that big a fan of) and rock perfectly, and are one of the deepest bands I've ever seen. :)

System of a Down was the main band that...really got me into music in general. :lol: They used to be my favorite band, but, while now #3, I still love them, and owe them a lot for getting me into so much other stuff. :lol:

Gorillazis a musical project created in 1998 by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. This project consists of the Gorillaz music itself and an extensivefictional universedepicting a "virtual band" of cartoon characters. This band is composed of four animated members:2D(lead vocalist, keyboard),Murdoc Niccals(bass guitar),Noodle(guitar, keyboard, and occasional vocals) andRussel Hobbs(drums and percussion).
It's not just their music that I love (which is REALLY good), but it's also the whole world and story surrounding the band and it's members. It's really awesome. :)
Also, as a heterosexual male, I must say 2D is a sexy beast. :x

Anyways, I love this band. A lot. I mean, a LOT! Their albums never get boring, I love and agree with pretty much all of their political and social views, and the music is damn good too! ;) Endgame, their 6th album, comes out on the 15th. Can't wait. :D
