@sebalayo: Why not? FF7 already exists in it's original state on current consoles/PC. Whats the point of this Remake if they aren't going to do something new with it? Everyone already knows the main story beats, even if they haven't played the original game. And it's not like it's so old it NEEDS a graphics update. So why am I going to spend $80 CDN when I have FF7 on PC/PSP/PS4 already? But if they are making changes to the story, well now. That's interesting.
Ugh... Yes, let's celebrate a show who's writers were told to write any insane garbage they could think of and not worry a bit about validating any of it.
Lost is how you do TV wrong in the long term. Good gods...
I loved Dishonored. It had some low points, certainly... But nothing a bit of cheating didn't polish up. Totally played through it a few times with instant magic recovery.
Seriously guys, you want to go against the trends? Put the cheats back in the games. This kind of game demands endless magic/health/ammo modes. That made the game play for me, a number of times over.
@H0RSE Difference being, those were upgrades that improved those services. How is an always online connection beneficial or even necessary to a gaming console that plays discs and has internal storage?
Also, even in this day and age, some people don't have internet access. Or not reliable enough to support this kind of thing.
1. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I've had this game since a week or two after it came out and I still have not finished the main quest. And I've made a bunch of characters.... I think it'll last. 2. Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Probably my favourite DS game. Super fun and some missions take hours. Not to mention all the extra war room and Vs. mode maps... sweet. 3. Animal Crossing: Wild World. A game that just never ends... It would work perfectly. 4. Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen Version. I'm a pokemon game freak, what do you want? So far the best remake of a game I've ever played. I love these versions... 5. Pokemon Emerald Version. The Battle Frontier is the only reason this game is good. I've spent some good time there.
