@aroxx_ab The videos in this topic are taken from the PC version, i think the graphics are good it's not a massive step up from Dirt 2 but a small one.

TOMMEY707

I can't see any tracks from Australia :( the countrys and places you do see are Norway, Finland, Kenya, Michigan, Aspen, L.A. Coliseum, Monaco, Smelter and under Gymkhana I can't seem to find Battersea Power Station, London this is all under the single player options.

Here is a new video

@morrowindnic The DX11 stuff looks slightly better in Dirt 3 the biggest improvement is how water looks when you travel through it, it's still got all the tessellation and cloth effects, as for actual graphical options they are all the same as Dirt 2.

@rhazzy Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy the video.

@Gamesterpheonix With your current specs I can't see you having any problems running the game you might have to tone down the AA slightly but I can't see your fps being lower than 30 even with everything maxed out. I believe that Dirt 3 is a DirectX 9 or 11 game so because your card is a DirectX 10 currently you will only be able to play the game using D9 which means you won't get the full graphical experience but it will still look good.

@ChubbyGuy40 I have deleted the original file from my computer but I am planning on uploading another at some point today maybe some Kenya? I will upload that to YouTube at 1080p.

Dirt 3 Winter Wonderland Norway

I am not going to lie and say I manage to get the recording correct first time because I didn't the truth is I spent a lot of time on my roof or skidding through multiple wooden fences. It is not easy driving on the snow with none of the driving assists enabled but after about an hour I managed to finish the race safely and come first.

@agpickle The track in the video is called Lighthouse View I am not 100% sure if the tracks are representations of the real life version however from the dev interview videos i've watched I know that the various buildings around the track are those you find in the area that the race is taking place.

Hey, where did you get your copy? There doesn't seem to be a retail boxed copy in the US and the only option is to buy on Steam.spiderman120988

I had some trouble finding the PC retail edition of Dirt 3 from my normal shopping places after a quick search I found coolshop and they dispatched my copy on friday I wasn't expecting it to come tilll Monday but the game came today.

I am very pleased ;)

@Kinthalis

Yeah you can change the weather and conditions options for example on the Michigan stages you can choose from rain, evening sun, morning sun, wet and night. Obviously on tracks in Norway the rain option is replaced by snow one slight problem though is you can't choose midday on any of the tracks only morning,evening and night.
