Oblivion, especially now that the game of the year version is out that comes with Knights of the Nine and Shivering Ilses.

But to each his/her own.

Here is a list of reasons why my Headset might be turned of.

1. Its Dead.(Most of the time it is so sorry)

2. I live in a dorm room with two tvs hooked up and sometimes my roommate is playing his 360 so to save everyone the agony of listing to Guitar Hero or Halo 3 I turn the thing of.

3. I forget to turn the damn thing on.

4. I Get pissed of at all the stupid people running around yelling at each other.(One guy actually followed me around in a game of COD4 the entire time calling me gay that I suck and stabing me with his knife. Luckily I couldn't understand his accent.

5. I have to agree background noises on some peoples mics are really annoying.

If you are interested in having an intelligent conversation with me about the game or just life send me an invite. Oh and I'm currently looking for clan to join that actually is good and that talks to each other.

Hi,

I've just been trying to get my ps3 online, but the trouble i dont know a lot about this sort of thing and there seems to be a problem.

I connect the ethernet to the ps3 and then plugged into the back of the modem. Is this ok? Or do you need a router?

When I test for the internet connection it comes up as 'failed' and it cannot find the IP address. However, it knows the ethernet is connected because when I remove it tells me so on the screen. Also I am on Virgin Media if that means anything?

Would like to know ASAP 'cos dying to get it online!

Did you set up your Modem so that their is an open access point for you to use to get on to the internet.

The only game I asked for c-mas is AC so hopefully i get it. I'm kind of 50/50 for UT3, not really a fan, its probably going to come down to whether or not i get my wireless router fixed at my parents house.

All of the games that i was anticapating were pushed back to next year so I'm both looking forward to next year as well as dreading it. MY BANK ACCOUNT IS GOING TO BE EMPTY.:cry:

There are more games coming out than I can afford. So don't worry about the games PS3 has some of the best exclusives, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, Eye of Judgement, Resistance, Motorstorm, F1, Unreal, etc... + we get all the multi-plats too. Like COD4, Rockband, Assasins Creed, Rainbow 6:Vegas etc.... 2008 is going to be insane, so it might be good to save some money anyway. :)

Too answer part2 of you questions. They all play DVDs, the 20gb, 60gb, and 80gb plays PS2 games. But honestly you won't be going back to those games. I thought I would and I played FFXII for all of about 10 minutes. It just looks so bad compared to PS3 games. So I like good graphics, don't look at me like that :)

I agree the only gamesI play that are ps2 are the ones that i purchased right beforeI got the PS3. After betting FF12 on it i haven't even put a ps2 game i it and thats been about 6 months. Well thatsnot completely true i did find and old Madden game 1998 i believe and since i had just got done playing Madden 08 i decided to see what it looked just for fun. Worst idea ever if you want to see crappy graphics and everything put in a really old game and see what it looks like.

I beat it on what ever the hardest setting is on my first try. I just set up all the claymores around the fence area. then threw down all the C4 right where the first wave comes from, by doing this you can pratically kill them all at once. as the second wave comes keep an eye out for the guys comming from were you get the Intell/computer. these are the guys that will sneak up onyou and kill you if you aren't paying attention. then one the helos come go to one of them and kill the guys coming down the zip lines. after their died book it to the other helio and kill the guys coming down the ropes. You can actually shoot the back of the Helicopters and get most of the guys if you have a light machine gun. then just sit back and wait till your helicopter comes. once it gets there wait a few seconds cause their will be friendlys that will get out who will give you some support and will allow you to carry the idiot you got himself hit by a heliocopter right after he shot it down. But first look around the area to see if their are any enemies around also when your carrying the guykeep an eye on those damn cars that tend to explode once you walk by them.I shot them before i picked up the guy so they would explode beforeI went by them. Good Luck. Oh and during most of the battle i was lying prone on top of the stairs that go up to the farriswheel.

the PS3 has a really low failure rate so i would go ahead and buy resistance but theres always a chance of it failing its just up to you on whether or not thats a risk you want to taketheiceman08

I agree. The only problem I've had with mine is that it froze once, but i later found out that it was the game fault. I have also had mine since launch.
