I'm so damn tired of it.The American media loves the Xbox 360 too much and gives the PS3 no respect. Every damn gaming website out there manages to find tiny problems & excuses to give PS3 versions of multi-platform games lower ratings. The xbox 360 sucks in comparison, from a technical standpoint. The majority of PS3 consoles have larger hard drives, while some 360's don't even come with one, the PS3 has a processor with an insane amount of cores, its graphically suprior, has a disc media that is 3X the size of DVD's, which also allows HD playback, has built in rechargable controllers, is RELIABLE(coughRRODcough), allows for more local gameplay as it can have 7 active controllers at once, every version of the console has an HDMI port, and only one model, which is no longer in production, didn't have built in wireless connectivity. These are the reasons Metal Gear Solid 4 will NEVER go to Xbox 360, the damn thing would take 5 or 6 discs for Christ's sake. I guess I shouldn't put it all on the media though, a lot of it is the developers' faults. One easy example is Valve, who for some reason, decided to outsource the PS3 version of The Orange Box to Electronic Arts, which ended in a technically horrible game. Many once loyal Playstation exclusive games have gone multi-platform, which has really broken my heart. The latest of which, Tekken, came as a complete surprise, a game that had been Playstation-only since the Playstation itself. It is my belief that games themselves and an American-made bias towards video games are the only reasons the Xbox 360 is far more popular than the Playstation 3. Maybe with the release of games like LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2, people might wise up, but I doubt it, I think the futility & stupidity of people will continue until the next generation of game consoles.
