also the cell technology combined with the RSX can easily simulate all the effects of the Nvidia 8800 ultra cards, but the developers arent ready to take PS3 that far this early.

As we have reported on earlier this week, many Xbox 360 owners (though not all) have been having problems with signing onto and using the console's Xbox Live online service. The Major Nelson web site gives an update on Microsoft's efforts to deal with the issues. Here is a snip:
