I find it kind of funny that the last time I have ever posted on my page described my then "new" computer. I accidentally yanked the power cord one day and cracked the screen. Now the screen is not even visible without a separate monitor. After a while the fan started to fail and now it sounds like a jet engine on crack that typically overheats before any program could push the core duo processor to its limits. Now it requires a separate fan, not that turning the laptop into a "desktop" is a bad thing because mainly there is no such thing as battery power anymore. A few keys are missing and some don't even come back up once they are pressed (mainly the 'a', 's', "shift", and "tab. You know, the most important ones).
But all is well. I have transferred to light side of the force. I just recently sucked up the massive amount of money and purchased a macbook pro, and shall I say nerd-gasm. I know, I know, macs are not really gaming machines. But I am willing to put that to the test. Chances are the only games worth playing are developed for a mac minus Microsoft games (I want Modern Warfare). I could alway duel-boot, but why would I want to ruin this beautiful creation. I have been formulating a plan to install windows on an SD card and run parallel (in the making).
I got the new 15" with the I5 processor, I wish it was the I7 with more video memory, hard drive space, and optional higher resolution; but I couldn't justifying forking over an additional $700.00 on top my initial $1700.00. I wish it was cheaper, but at this point I really want to believe I will get what I pay for.
Current Game Drolling: Starcraft II, WOW Cataclysm, Civ V, Doom 4, and Diablo III.
