The time has come, where my personal computer is out dated, and just annoying.  I figured within the next couple of weeks, I will be purchasing a new computer.  One that will fit my needs.  This is a big life changing choice of mine.  Larger than a carrier, a place to live, or even having a relationship.  Well maybe not the relationship, but getting a new computer is a big deal to me. 

My Needs List from HELL

Laptop Computer - around $1400 ($50ish a month)

Intel Core Duo processor (1.83GHz/667MHz or better)

1 GB RAM or better

120 GB Hard drive or better

256MB Video Card (What's the best???) something better?

Extras

17" display (More Pixels), TV Tuner Express card w/remote (needs XP Media Center),  anything snazy.

I'm still researching.  So far I have been tied with HP dv8000t and the Dell XPS.  I also have been thinking about the Mac Book Pro; I get a killer student discount.
