Hey GS forums, long time no see. Just wanted to ask if anyone knew where can I find a good site that has C tutorials on making games with Windows GDI. I already know a decent deal of C, but I have no experience in game programming. I'm learning C so then I can migrate to C# without problems. (And yes I mean C, not C++.)

I received an Arcade Console as a gift some days ago, my first current-gen console apart from my PC. I'm looking for a place on the net to buy the component cable, and possibly a 60gb/120gb HDD. My budget is 85$.

Amazon has good prices, but I'd like to hear you guys.

Some games detect my gamepad as 360 controller, like Mirror's Edge and Devil May Cry 4, and it doesn't let me configure the controls. But some games like Prince Of Persia or Grid do let me tweak as I please, how can I make them not detect it as a 360 controller?

Hello, I've an old Wingman precision gamepad that when I plug it in Windows XP (Professional Sp3) does not recognize it, it just tells me it's an unknown USB device, It works on

other computers and I know the USB ports are good since they work with all the other devices flawlessly. I didn't come with any drivers on the box, and the software logitech offers

is just a calibration tool, which I can't use since it's not detected.

Please that'd really help, if you can link to the site better (except newegg since they don't take orders from international IPs, and I'm not in the U.S) and strictly under 80$, don't recommend to add "X" dollars more to buy a better card.

I've googled reviews and such, they seem to deliver almost the same performance with some little differences like arquitecture, clock speeds, voltage.                   Most of the answers have been the E7200, but here's the thing: The mobo/cpu packages I'm refering to have 40$ of difference, the athlon is the cheaper one, knowing this, which cpu should I get? I'm on a budget so please don't ask me to pony up more money for, let's say, cooling solutions for OC. I'm mostly planning to use them at stock speeds.

If you could aslo mention some good GPUs under 100$-80$, with at least 512mb and lots of steam processors.

Is there a definitive way to know this, My board is very old and it has a lga 775 socket, The chipset is a sis661FX/GX.

I want to upgrade to a core 2 duo soon, but I wanna make sure it doesn't have compatility issues.
