I have CS:S from Steam, and although its a great game, it does have its downsides:

1) No prone, only crouch. I know this is done to balance the gameplay, but other games do it fine and it does not unbalance the gameplay at all.

2) Characters feel like they run too slowly (IMO), plus the camera does not shake at all when you run. Counter Strike literally feels like you are controlling a floating camera with two arms attached. Compare this to other games where it actually feels like you are seeing through the eyes of an actual human, not a floating camera with arms attached. I know this sounds like a lame excuse, but atmosphere and realism is important to me.

3) Counter Strike glorifies one-hit-kills too much. Constant insta-kills are too annoying for me. I like to be patient and take a few seconds to fight my enemies, not just point at their heads and press one button.

4) Fire in the hole! Fire in the hole! Fire in the hole! My goodness that gets annoying when your teammates are launching grenades every 2 seconds.

Not saying that CS:S is bad in any way, but I prefer some other games to play online.

Yeah, I saw that on Steam a little while ago too. Had a good chuckle at the fact that a virtual game somehow sold out.
