I played thefirst Tomb Raider game on my PC many years ago. It was the only Tomb Raider in the series I ever played, I never managed to play any sequels. So here I am, several years later with Tomb Raider Anniversary purchased from Steam. Tomb Raider Anniversary edition is basically a remake of the first game with better graphics. Once I have played this game, would it make sense to being playing Tomb Raider: Legends and then Tomb Raider: Underworld after it? OR have I missed too much storyline/plot from all the other previous Tomb Raider games like Angel of Darkness and several others to make sense out of these new games? None of the other games are available on Steam, so I am confused on how I should go about this. Any idea on which order I should be playing these games in to make sense of the storyline?

Thanks in advance :)

1) Square Enix once said "We are not developing a remake for FF7, however, most of the people currently working on F13 would love to make a remake after they are finished with their current game". That was a few years ago. FF13 is basically finished now. Notice how Square is announcing this news right after FF13 is finished... hmmm conspiracies ;)

2) FF7 was requested by fans. Hardly anybody requested a Kingdom Hearts sequel since we all knew that would be coming soon.

3) Square Enix have already remade FF games 1 to 6... why not push the number one level higher?

The 360 version of FF13 will likely outsell the PS3 version in the US and most other areas, thats for sure. I don't think MS is losing any sleep over whether or not Square Enix will be supporting them in the future ;)

Tech website Anadtech has got a hands-on video of Unreal Engine 3 tech demo running on the iPhone. Looks neat!

And you thought the iPhone wasn't a gaming platform ;)

PS2 outsold Xbox 1 on a 6-to-1 ratio. Nowadays, PS3 can barely keep up with 360. Think of how much market share Sony lost during the years and ask yourself who is the real loser here. The 360 has ALREADY gained the support of most third-party developers. Most multiplats are desgined with the 360 as the lead platform and the PS3 as the "please feed me ports" console. Sony is the real loser here, even if the PS3 outsold the 360 in a few months/years time.

PC + DS is better. Wii doesn't complement the PC that well since neither of them are portable (apart from laptops). DS does it will, since it fills in the gaps the PC is missing (portability, Japanese games, etc).

[QUOTE="InfiniteBlak"]probably not, dont really care about crysis, its graphics and no substance.superapo
like killzone 2 and uncharted 2 right?

Lol. Some people claim Crysis is a tech demo, 95% graphics focused and 5% gameplay focused, but Uncharted 2? No, it has to be both graphics and gameplay.

[QUOTE="Im_single"][QUOTE="PandaBear86"] Crysis 1 sold well on PCs, despite having high system requirements at its time of launch (Crysis 2 won't be that intense). Oh, and Crysis 2 will sell like crazy on Steam :)Kan0nF0dder
Ya know, I'd love for the PC version to sell more don't get me wrong, but it's inevitable that it will sell more on consoles, almost everything does. I'd be willing to bet that half of the console market doesn't even realize Crysis exists and will only notice it when it hits consoles, it will turn into a casual game on consoles that the majority will lap up.

There will be no DL numbers on Cryisis 2 for PC, so what you say is true and no doubt the consolites will have a field day with it, but that's only physical copies. Me and all my friends that still game on PC have switched to DLs.

Same here. I love Steam. I recently got that THQ pack with 20 games for a crazy $50 USD. Oh, did I mention how much I hate using discs for games? No more scratches, misplaced discs, etc. Thank goodness for Steam.
