Crysis is a horrible game. Took me 6 hours to complete if you take out the 12 hours I spent getting lost in the friggin ugly and boring alien space ship thing.

t;/p>

the storyline is decent, and the voice acting is superb (Physcho's voice is good) but the ending was TERRIBLE. Left me with... "That's it?"

After completing it I had NO motivation WHATSOEVER to play it again.

However, I played it some older saves just playing around various mods.

Oh and I'll most likely buy Crysis 2 on PC, if I can get this damn core i7/ HD 5870 build for $1500.

Either you haven't played the game or you're smoking some good stuff because the alien space ship was one of the better looking parts of the game.

Oh, I've played it alright, and the alien ship bored me to tears.

I really liked the alien level. The zero gravity was awesome. But it could have better if they added more aliens in there and the action was more intesnse. Nothing better than grabbing aliens by the throat and punching in the face :) :D Your name has "Ultima" in it. Did you get this from the "Ultima" game series?

1.) I don't play multiplayer games

2.) I only have one friend

3.) He doesn't like multiplayer games

So no.

Oh man you must be REALLY sad >.> OT: i only have 1 console this gen.....so...

How? I don't like talking to people (out of the internet), he is the only one who interests me.

I agree that Quality >>>> Quantity. Expesially when it comes to friends. I have a small number of close friends, about 3-4.

Console sales will crush PC sales for Crysis 2, mark my words.Im_single
Crysis 1 sold well on PCs, despite having high system requirements at its time of launch (Crysis 2 won't be that intense). Oh, and Crysis 2 will sell like crazy on Steam :)

Well not everyone has a really nice computer, just saying.alphamale1989
I did mention that in my thread. I wrote "So what about you guys? I know many people havent played Crysis, mainly because your PC wouldn't run it well"

I'll buy it on either PS3 or 360. If I owned a nice gaming PC, then of course I'd buy Crysis 2 for PC. I wonder which console version will be superior though? Doolz2024
Most people on this forum will say the console with better graphics will be the superior version. But trust me, the "superior" version depends on which console controller you feel comfotable with, as well as which console has the bigger friends list for you. If all your friends are on XBL and you prefer the 360 controller, get the 360 version even if the PS3 had better graphics. Thats my opinion of "superior version" ;)

probably not, dont really care about crysis, its graphics and no substance.InfiniteBlak
Oh trust me, its much more than just graphics. How about awesome combat, tactical nanosuit functions, large envirnments, switching from stealth techniques to hardcore action on-the-fly, and so much more. I wouldn't have played the game so many times if it weren't for its great gameplay.

some games just need to be on the PC only.

LegatoSkyheart
True. Thankfully, Crysis will be desgined 100% for the PC in mind, and consoles get the ports :P

I just finished playing Crysis for like, the fifth time. Totally awesome game (both Crysis and Crysis Warhead), and I really can't wait for Crysis 2. And yes, I will be getting the PC version of the game on Steam. Crysis was completely desginged for the PC in mind, and although Crysis 2 will work fine on consoles, the PC edition is the cutting-edge version. I normally buy sequels on the same platform I bought the original game on, mainly because it keeps things more organised, and I don't have to get used to new controllers or manage a new friends list etc.

So what about you guys? I know many people havent played Crysis, mainly because your PC wouldn't run it well. Do you plan on getting Crysis 2 for your console? Do you plan on getting a new PC to play it? Or, are you a PC gamer who played Crysis 1 on PC, and might get the sequel on consoles to play online on your XBL/PSN friends list?

JRPG = old-fashion WRPG Ever heard of Ultima 3? That was a WRPG, and it is the basis in which JRPGs were built upon. Western RPGs have moved far since Ultima 3, while many JRPGs still use the old-fashion formulas. Sounds like WRPGs are better on paper, although I do like some of the old-fashioned gameplay. Since when did we care about game evolution anyways? I care about fun, and many JRPGs are fun. Even today, my favorite RPG of all time is FF7.

Why do people continously bash Dante's Inferno for being a God of War clone? Just because it is unoriginal doesn't mean it deserves loads of criticism. Why is it that when a new FPS game is released, nobody ever bashes it for being a clone of Halo, Call of Duty, Killzone or whatever else. Yet as soon as Dante's Inferno shows up, everybody is screaming "what a shameless rip-off! How terrible! Shame on you, EA!".

If you played any FPS game within the past 2 weeks (apart from Doom or original Wolfenstein) youinstantly lose your ability to call Dante's Inferno a shameless rip-off because that FPS game you were just playing is a shameless rip-off previous FPS games.Call of Duty is a shameless rip-off from Medal of Honor. Section 8 is a shameless rip-off from Halo. Even in other genres, Forza is a shameless rip-off of Gran Tursimo. See what I did there? Apart from Spore, Wii Fitor DJ Hero, there are hardly that many "original" games nowadays, since everything has already been done before. Dante's Inferno is not original, but judging by the gameplay demo it looks like a real gem. And thats the most important part. I'd rather play a fun clone (Dante's Inferno) rather than an original game thats boring to play (Wii Fit). Agree? :)

You guys can lose sleep because Dante borrowed a few ideas from Kratos, but the rest of us will soon be enjoying a great game. Thanks for reading:)

not saying that saying that DI will be a bad game or anything. But, your post clearly shows that you haven't actually played both games to know what people mean. The gameplay is pretty much EXACTLY the same. Stop trying to bring up all these pointless examples about how games borrow from other games. You don't really get it because I'm certain you haven't played both games to even be saying this. Every game you brought up saying that they borrow from each other has noticeable differences in gameplay. GoW and DI have the SAME gameplay.

The fact that DI and GOW have the same gameplay is what makes me feel so excited about it. How is it a bad thing if a game has the same gameplay as GoW (which was awesome)? Fun >>>>>> Originality
