Hi all,

I'm owning a NZXT Guardian 921 casing since 2009 which comes with 3 build-in 120mm fans (rear, side and front). They are all run at approximately 1300~1600RPM according to Speedrun readings.

This morning, the rear fan made an extremely loud noise and spin at very slow rate which I believed it was failed eventually.

Now what I'm concerned is, is it fine for me to replace the failed rear fan to a new 2000RPM fan? It makes loud noise then my original rear fan once installed when the side panel casing is closed due to more airflow being sucked out of the system than usual. Also, I have a graphic card cooler fan installed.

Please advise the airflow system is doing fine or not. Thanks. :)

Hi,

I'm planning to get this harddrive as my Secondary storage for my pc dekstop and currently running Windows XP as OS.

I would like to know if I still need to use the WD Align software to align partitions on the Advanced Format drive? Although I do NOT install any OS on this drive.

Thanks heaps!!!

^Topic^

I just wanna build a fairly budget computer. Would be more appreciated if someone can recommend me a cheap and good MicroATX motherboard that can play decent games at low settings. Thanks!!!

I have my 9800gtx running at 105c while playing L4D2/fallout3 without experincing any shutters. But still scaring my graphic card will fry up somedays so i installed the Evercool System Cooler Fox-1 to pump hot air out. Now running the games at 85c max. :D

Ooops..Looks like I'm sort of out of the question.. the system cooler is not for laptop. :X
