Get it for the PSX instead. The PC version is a pain to get to work and it's horrible in general. So get in on PSX, or alternatively, a PSX emu.

N64 was all about quick, easy and fun games. Mostly multiplayer to be specific. Sure it had some jewels like SuperMario64 (best platformer, EVER) and Zelda, but imo that's about it for the singleplayer greats. On the other hand it had some of the best multiplayer games of it's generation. Smash Bros, Mario Party, Mario Kart etc. Great fun.

PSX to me was more about the singleplayer, even though it too had great multiplayer games. Crash Bash and Crash Team Racing for example were imo better than their n64 counterparts. Then again I'm pretty sure they came way after. Anyway, I think the PSX has a lot more quality singleplayer games, and to me the graphics were a bit more appealing later on. Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Tekken 3 were seriously good games.

Then again, this is just my opinion. I like both the consoles, but if I had to choose, I'd pick the PSX, cause it has more good games.

I heard they aren't making HL2 ep3, but taking that story over and making it straight to HL3. Can't confirm this though.

I'll take a hot day everytime if I have to choose between a cold or a hot one. It's so much easier to "counter" warmth, get a fan, stay inside, airconditioning, shadows, water, swimming, etc. People tend to be in a better mood too, and you don't have to worry about what you're wearing. You actually can socialize easier when everyone isin't angry and stays inside all day. The traffic actually works in the summer too. Cars dont get stuck, and you don't have to spend 15minutes to scrape ice off your windshield every morning. In the summer you don't have to worry about a place to "hang out" or where you could spend some time with ur friends. It's always dark during the winter. Always. When you wake up, it's dark. When you come home from work, it's dark. In the winter, transportation is very limited. You either walk/hike(:D), drive, or take the buss. Sometimes taking your car isin't an option cause there's just too much snow. In the summer you can pretty much move around freely, however you choose, whenever. Walking, rollerblading, cycling, driving, skateboarding - you name it.

Did i mention what happens when pipes start to freeze?

Seriously, anyone who has ever seen a real winter, prefers a hot summer. Stop complaining about getting sweaty, go swim and enjoy the sun.

Sort of offtopic, but hot > cold. Even if it's TOO hot.

Quickly seeing through your list, seems like you've missed Crysis and Total War. Both great seriers, definately worth a try. Or what about Team Fortress 2? Maybe even some MMORPG? Or what about some fighting game? Street Fighter is pretty good, just get the newest version. (assuming you're gonna play against ppl!) Mass Effect might be worth a try too.

Alternatively you could also try a bunch of Indie games, if you haven't already. There are good Indie games on Steam for pretty cheap. Some recommendations on Indie games:

-Plants Vs Zombies

-Super Meat Boy

-World Of Goo

-Braid

-Minecraft

Practice makes perfect.

You could try remapping some keys and adjusting the sensitivity. Also you probably shoudln't instantly jump into multiplayer, you might wanna run some singleplayer before moving to mp. You'll get used to it soon enough, the more you play, the faster =D
