Is it really all that different from being interested in Christianity? Or how about sports? I'm not into Christianity. Watching televised sports isn't my thing either. Goths have a right to act as goofy as they want to. I have a right to make fun of them for it. It's pretty simple.

Sparrow, I'm talking about the kids in the goth clothes. If wearing goth clothing doesn't make you gothic, then you have nothing to worry about in regards to me making fun of what I perceive to be goths.
You just proved my point. You revel in your being different. You don't care if you get laughed at? You don't care if people mind you extra attention? You like being that group of awkward people that everyone stares at. That's what it's all about. It's retarded. Goths piss me off. That's about it. Everytime I go to a show there's always some creepy looking gothic douche lingering around in the shadows looking mopey and down trodden. I see them at the mall. I used to see them at school. Luckily goths don't go to college because they're too busy being different.
Goths are different because that's the only way they know how to get attention. Throw on a couple of studded belts and some baggy black pants with a t-shirt from Hot Topic and suddenly you're the epitome of counter culture.
You're annoying because you try too hard to be different. Your idea of being different is dressing in retarded clothing and preaching about nonconformity while simultaneously conforming to the ideas regurgitated amongst gothic kids via angsty poetry.
Goths are some of the most annoying people in existence. In all honesty, it's not cool to dress like a functionally retarded social outcast. Damn, I hate goths.
