So I just picked up Super Mario Galaxy today at one of those special launch events today in GAME...who knew Mario was awesome? Ok, so everyone knew but I bet you didn't know he could breathe in space. Yeah. Soooo......it's really good, a true successor to Mario 64. Also, anything that makes the same noise as those Lumas = win. That's all for now, more once I finish it.

Finally the Crysis demo is out, I upgraded my PC for this game........and it was worth it. It's awesome, better than Bioshock but I'll wait for the full game to decide if it's better than Half-Life 2. Anyway, I played the demo and loved it....but it didn't love my PC :cry: E6600, HD 2900XT, 2GB DDR2 RAM and it's still violently killing my PC.... So I've decided I'll OC a bit, then it'll run a bit better. Currently I'm running at 1280x1024 on mid to high settings in DX10 but with only 15-25 FPS :( At least I can max out TF2

Finally I got my new rig working, so I went ahead and joined the TF2 beta and it's amazing. This is the best multiplayer I have ever seen. Not only is it fun, but it looks amzing; the visual style really goes a long way in making this game great. The classes are all well balanced, the heavy doesn't own everyone and the scout won't get owned by everyone. Only real problem with it is that there aren't enough maps; it's so good and I want to enjoy it on more maps.

So, I was doing a bit of tidying the other day and I came across this:

I made this about a year ago by taking apart my keyboard, drilling holes on the bottom and screwing wheels from a skateboard on. Anyway, that's all folks!

Ah Warhawk, you were so good to me during the beta. I didn't mind the occsional freeze or even crash because you were awesome. But now.....now. Now, you are plagued by people who don't know how to play. People who kill their own team members for the flag. I don't know how many times I have been metres away from the flag......until some one on my team killed me for the flag. Not accidents either, these aren't some accidental run over kill but usually close-quarters knife kills! This isn't even the only problem. Nobody knows how to play CTF properly, how are you supposed to get the flag if nobody takes spawn points? Resistance was never this annoying... This is why I'm taking a break from Warhawk, a long break.

I just finished playing Bioshock for PC and maybe you heard it's kinda good... Bioshock is something else, but I don't think it goes as far as it was intended to. I think Jeff got it right in his review when he said it discourages exploration, I knida got the feeling that the whole world of Rapture was just one big graphic and technical show piece without being fully developed game play wise. The story is completely amazing, it definitely is not like your usual 'kill dudes and then kill some more dudes...' The first time I came out of the water after that plane crash, I was amazed at the water effects, but I guess they had to get that right. The plasmids are definitely one of the highlights of the game, the variety is really good and they're all useful. The weapons are pretty standard, the usual suspects without anything really different there, I didn't think the ammo types and research were as fleshed out as maybe they should have been. Also once I had installed Bioshock there was some trouble with missing textures and stuff, but a simple hotfix for my Ati HD 2900XT fixed that. Over all Bioshock is an amazing game, maybe some parts could have been better but most aspects show just what can go right with a FPS game. -8.5

Wow, Guitar Hero has a truly amazing track list; some of my favourite songs are going to be in that game. On the other hand, it's Rock Band. You can make a Rock Band. A ROCK BAND. How am I supposed to choose? Ok, Rock Band is an awesome concept but it only has a few songs I would like to play, plus there could be some lag online which would destroy the fun of making a Rock Band. Then again Guitar Hero has that awesome track list and Slash is going to be in that, how cool would it be to face-off against Slash and get owned? I fear that I'll be dragged into buying both. Maybe I could get Guitar Hero on the Wii to save some money...

Ok, so people have been bashing Lair because it got a bad review in a magazine or something and apparently didn't live up to the hype. Since when does 1 review decide a game's fate? This has been the game that I'm most looking forward to this year(I have a thing for dragons) and I know I'm going to play it even if every site and magazine gave it a bad review, not to mention that it did get 9/10 in Play Magazine(said here) which is probably more credible because it's used on Gamerankings. EGM also didn't give Blue Dragon a very good review, but people are still saying it's going to be AA or AAA or whatever and I'm sure lots would agree that it would be a great game(not me personally, I hate JRPGs). Come on people, can't we just leave Lair alone until all the reviews are out and stop calling it 'a flop' from 1 review?

P.S. It looks real purdy too!

Edit: Ok, maybe I may have been wrong, but I still want to play it...
