That's happened to me before. What I did was reinstall it, but put the USB adaptor in a different USB port. I also checked in Device Manager to make sure it was uninstalled.

That's your Wii F.C. Not your GH3 F.C. The GH3 one is 12 numbers long. Not 16.

Did your brother update his system? maybe that's why it doesn't completely power down! Ungdi

It doesn't completely power down because the WiiConnect24 is set to be on in Stand By mode. That makes the light yellow.

There is no Black Wii... Anywhere. Other than custom paint jobs.

O.o

On my Wii, YouTube videos don't show up...

Maybe I just need to re-install the Internet Channel...

Actually, all Wii remotes come with the Remote Jacket now. And as for the yellow stand by connection, that's only if you have WiiConnect24 enabled and Stand By Connection set to on. The Wiis are the same. The game has been updated with newer pictures of the wiimote, and there is a new strap. Other than that, the console is the exact same. It's only the Wiimote (wrist strap only) and Wii sports that have changed.

Edit: About the console holder. It was a packaging error. I once bought a camera that didn't come with a battery... My Wii came with a holder.

I was thinking about something like that for a Mic. Only instead of 2 connectors, it just expands the current one out, and the expansion part has a cord with a mic coming out.

I've had mine since about July or August. It hasn't broken at all.

I like the Wii's online a bit more than Xbox live. When I used to play my original Xbox online, I kept getting frustrated from all the little kids going "LOLZ U SUX N00B!!!". And, it costs $50 a year. I decided to get a Wii instead of 360. I like the Wii's online more. That way, you can't hear little kids being dumb and stuff. Nintendo just needs more online games.
