to all thsoe retards that say halo 3 graphix arent great...go get ur eyes checked. if u played the campaign u know what im talking about the enviroments are the best ive seen so far in any game. but the chracter models could use some work. overall this game has godlike gameplay and amazing graphix. if u dont believ me go play the game. kokoane123

actually as far as how the graphics LOOK, well there are definately other titles that are more visually spectacular. Gears and bioshock blow halo 3 out of the water in terms of overall looks.

But when you take into acount that EVERYTHING on EVERY MAP on EVERY MATCH or GAME you EVER play is recorded...and when you understand what it takes to acomplish this feat...what bungie did with halo 3 is something that we have never seen before. Groundbreaking.

EDIT:

The character models of master chief and arbitor are some of the best out there as are many of the enemy character models.

The enviroments are certainly NOT the best looking out there on the 360, gears and bioshock absolutely kill halo 3 on the enviroments.

This is because in halo 3 the entire map is being recorded real time 100% of the time you play the game. This is quite the technical achievment. Being a smart person who understands this fact, I can not only overlook, but admit that this game is not the prettiest game out. However, from a technical standpoint, what halo 3 does is most impressive.

Im a huge FPS guy and Im looking to branch out a little. Bioshock seems like the perfect game for me.

However I am skeptical. Is this game going to provide me with 30 hours of amazing gameplay, and then leave me wanting to start over and play through again? Is the hardest difficulty really hard? Or is this game going to have me wondering whyI spent $60 on a single player FPS?

Please guide me. I have been torn about this game for a week now.

most 360s do not have hdmi... as in every 360 made before july 07. Microsoft makes a 1st party vga cable that plugs right into the 360, no adapter required.

Good choice on going for a computer monitor for budget HD gaming. I picked up a nice 22" widscreen samsung monitor for 300 including the cost of the new cable. I was pricing TVs in that size and price range for a month and nothing came close to the quality of the samsung at even $100 more than what I spent. You can go MUCH cheaper than that if you go for a cheaper brand too. I saw 'off brand' 19" widescreen monitors for as low as 120.

Just remember, no built in speakers. Luckilly microsoft was kind enough to include a RCA to headphone jack adapter with teh VGA cable, for easy plug and play with any set of computer speakers. Or if you already have a 5.1 setup like me then your gold. :D
