Peach100 Blog

Life, life, life.

Well...a lot of things have happened in my life over the past few months. But that's boring to hear about. :P

Anyways, just got wind of a game called Rift: Planes of Telara and I'm really looking forward to playing it. Hopefully it'll be what people are hoping for---me included. I need a good game to play right now. WoW ain't cutting it right now. Neither is Guild Wars or Wizard101.

....what? People do get bored.

World of Warcraft

...Yup, it's happened to me now. I'm now an "addict" of WoW.

My brother started playing two weeks ago on May 8th. The next day he begged me to start playing as he enjoyed it so much and knew I would too. So I started playing the 10-day trial on May 9th. I enjoyed it immensely and then my brother and I both begged my sister to start playing! Hahaha. And she did.

So now all 3 of us are playing WoW. I recently ran into a little "gold mine" and have made what's considered a ton of gold for a beginner.

All 3 of us wound up buying the base game for $20. It comes with a free 30-day game card which makes it a good deal. When you start playing the game and throughly enjoying it as I am then the payment isn't so bad after all.

I'm playing as a human Mage who is level 29 going on 30. Got myself a horse a good amount of pets. One of the pets is from the Blizzard store. It's the Pandoran Monk pet. He's so adorable. I uploaded a picture of him.

The rest of the pets I have are ones I got from this really nice guy I met. He's been playing for four years! He knows lot about the game and I'm so happy I met him. Without him I'd probably be struggling in-game.

I've done a couple of dungeon runs with friends + random people. I have to say that doing dungeons with other people is what I find addicting. I just find it so much fun to team up together and battle loads of enemies and bosses. And then I get good armor drops!

I'm not even close to exploring the entire world yet. Just today I learned that there's a whole 'nother world besides the one I'm playing in at the moment. And this is all in the base game. This isn't including the 2 expansions!

Anyways, I'll leave on this note.

If you have the money and time to play WoW then play it!!! ;)

Hi everyone

Once again, it's been a long time since I've written a blog. I guess it's because I'm not really into blogging but I do like to do it from time to time.

Anyways. I recently started playing World of Warcraft aka WoW. I know I'm crazy. First Wizard101, then Guild Wars and now WoW. When my friends heard I was playing the free trial of WoW they're like, "Oh, we lost you for good now." rofl! But it's all good.

I started playing the free 10-day trial on the 9th and I liked it so much that I went out and bought the base game on the 13th. I was going to buy the battlechest but I decided that would be too much too soon. The base game was only $20 and it comes with a free 30-days. (And it's not a trial.) So, I thought that was a good deal and got it. I'll buy the 1st expansion later if I really like the game. And if I really like the 1st expansion then I'll buy the 2nd expansion and soon the 3rd, haha.

I like how the goals of WoW are deep. Like, to ride a mount you must first be level 20, be trained in riding, and have a mount. Being level 20 takes time. Earning the gold to train in riding takes time. And finding a suitable--(and cute!)--mount takes time. And that's just one aspect of the game.

I might upload some pictures of my WoW gameplay. I'll see.

Well, that's the best update I can give you people at this time. Thanks for reading. ;)

Hey everyone!

It's been a long time since I wrote a blog so I thought I'd bat one out just for fun.

Did any of you see Avatar or Alice in Wonderland yet? I heard they were good movies---especially Avatar. I actually haven't seen Avatar or Alice in Wonderful but I will definitely see them sometime. My friends and I don't usually go to movie theaters.Smiley

I did see Precious though. I cried during that movie!! It was so sad. Did anyone see Precious yet?

Hey, also, has anyone ever heard of a TV show called "24"? My friends and I just finished the 1st season and, OMG, that's all I can say. I WAS BLOWN AWAY!! Like, it was far-fetched at some parts but it was definitely worth watching.

As I watched the show I thought, "How could it get worse" or "How could it get better" or "What else could go wrong". Things like that. And here it certainly can get worse, or better or more things go wrong, rofl.

It's a great show but my friends and I were emotional while watching it. sad smiley

Well, gotta run. Post and let's hear some feedback.

C'ya later all!

Exclusive Pichu Giveaway at Gamestop!!!

Hi everyone! I thought that it's about time I wrote another blog. This time I bring special news! Exciting news. There's going to be a giveaway at GameStop. They're giving away a special colored Pichu that you can redeem by using Pokémon Pearl, Diamond or Platinum.

There's a secret behind this Pokémon. (Well, not really but I thought it sounded cool, )

If you buy Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver and take this special Pichu to Ilex Forest then you'll also get the Spiky-eared Pichu. This is the only way to get that second Pokémon.

It's a gimmick of course but no matter. I was planning on getting the games anyhow. This offer only last from January 30th to February 14th.

Here's the official article: Special Pichu Pokémon

I'm going to get mine on January 30th. Or at least try. It's a Saturday so I shouldn't be too busy.

What about you people? Are you thinking of getting this special Pokémon?

Hope Everyone Had a Great Holiday Season!!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Things have finally quieted down in our house and the holidays are officially over for us. I got some great stuff this year and I gave some great stuff.

I'm not really into playing with dolls anymore but I do like getting them and putting them in places where they look nice. I use them as decorations pieces. For Christmas I got this beautiful doll! She's so cute. She's from the brand Adoradoll. Check it out if you're into dolls because those brand of dolls are gorgeous.

Anyways, I got some other things but I won't go into detail.

So, how was everyone else's holidays? And what did you get for Christmas? :)

P.S. This is off topic but whatever. I went to Best Buy the other day and I picked up the NDS game "Hysteria Hospital Emergency Ward" and the game is pretty fun. I played the PC version and it was a nice time-passer as is the NDS version.

Happy Thanksgiving?

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Some of you might of celebrated it earlier though. A friend of mine told me she's from Canada and celebrated it last month. I still hope it was a good one.

This morning my family and I woke up early, at 4:30am to be exact, and went shopping for Black Friday deals. We went to Walmart first but the deals weren't that great. The HDTV's were knocked down about $100 but we don't need any HDTV, rofl. We all have one of our own already.

I went to Staples later on in the morning, around 6:00am was when they opened, and I got two good deals. I bought a chair for $70 and it used to be $120. Then I bought a combo deal which was a wireless keyboard and mouse for $30 which used to be $50.

Online I ordered a 1TB harddrive for around $80 I believe it was.

Overall I wound up saving around $90 which is good. I'm using the chair I bought right and it's really nice. I'm glad I got it.

A bit of an update

I got my free copy of Guitar Hero: Van Halen a couple of weeks ago but I haven't played it much. I was too busy playing Overlord II, haha. I recently got Dragon Age: Origins along with it's DLC and I must say it's an awesome game. Some parts are a bit boring but it's not common. And there are some bugs/glitches here and there as well but, again, that's not too common.

I simply love the battles. There are many enemies at one time and it's so much fun to stragtegize and consider different tactics that should be used in different parts of the battles. And I love how, out of no where, enemies spring up to engage me in battle. It tends to shock me every once in a while but lately I'm started to see a pattern and I just may be on to when they're about to attack me---no matter though, I'm sure I'll still be spooked later on, hahaha.

I'm thinking about writing a review for the game as soon as I finish it. Which won't be soon I'm sure. I've played for hours and yet I've only got about 7% of the game finished. I read that there's over 100+ hours of gameplay easily wrapped up in this game. Which suits me just fine. At this stage of life I've got plenty of time. (And I intend to keep it that way for as long as possible, lol.)

Well, the release for MW2 is almost here. My brother is dying for it. We're gonna go to a Gamestop around 10:30pm because the line isn't starting until 11:00pm. There are supposed to be marines there at the Gamestop at the time of the release!! It's gonna be neat though. I'm not into MW2 but I'm gonna go with my brother simply because if I stay home then I'll feel as though I missed something, rofl.

Got my Wisdom Teeth out today

Hey everyone. I got my wisdom teeth out today. I was put to sleep for it. I'm not in any pain right now at all. I'm limited on how wide my mouth can open but that's it. The dentist said that in three days the swelling is going to get bad and that's the worst of it.

You know, I usually do really bad with the anesthetic, (I go crazy right before I go into a deep slumber), this time I did pretty well. However, before the dentist put the IV in he put on this REALLY tight rubber band on my arm. It's like the bands that are put on our arms when blood is taken.

But I'm telling you this band was so tight. Anyways, I'll get to the point: I fainted. That band was just too tight. All I know is that I do very well with getting shots, blood taken, pain, etc, and so it wasn't my fault I fainted. I woke up about twenty seconds later and I know that because the clock was the same time.

Anyways, they gave me some oxygen and we were able to get through it. I don't remember anything after that.

The next thing I knew I was being shaken awake by three nurses and the dentist. The dentist said he was getting worried because the surgery was over an hour before and they stopped the anesthetic---so, I was asleep and nothing was being given to me to make me sleep….that's kind of scary, ha ha.

But, anyways, my blabbering isn't over yet. Hee hee. I was awake, yes, in my right mind, no. I kept trying to get up. Don't know why. Now that I think about it I knew it was stupid. They were trying to get me to stay awake. Goodness, I was tired!! And they kept talking to me and bothering me, ha ha! Finally they restrained me! Literally. They took these straps that were on the side of the chair and the tied me there. I started crying…

Whatever, I'm better now and life's good. I'm not looking forward to what's going to happen in three days though. That's when the swelling is supposed to get bad and when the pain starts.

My brother got his Wisdom teeth out too and he drank three sodas with a straw, (which you're not supposed to use a straw. It uses muscles that make swelling bad), so, yeah, he looks pretty bad. Hee hee.

Well, I'm really tired so I'm going to head off to bed now.

C'ya!!

P.S. Tomorrow Comcast is coming to hook up cable internet that's gonna be a speed of 12mbps!!! Yay!!

Getting Guitar Hero 5 along with Guitar Hero: Val Halen!

Hey everyone.

I haven't posted a new blog since May so it's long overdue. But, I'll post one now for the fun of it. I'm gonna be getting GH5 along with GH: Van Halen.

At first I wasn't gonna get GH5 but the deal was sweetened when GH: Van Halen was thrown into the deal it was something I didn't want to pass up. My Grandparents love painting, they love it so much they want to do it all themselves and they never hire anyone. So, my Dad told me that he'd by me GH5 if I helped my Grandparents paint!

Well, my Grandparents and I seized the opportunity to paint on a beautiful day last week. We had a pretty good time. My Pappy cracked some jokes, make fun of my Grandma for getting white paint on her clothes, (because he didn't like her clothes), and my Grammy got snippy and told Pappy she didn't like his clothes either. Hee hee. They weren't fighting though, just having fun.

I was chuckling listening to them.

I can't wait to play GH5. There's some songs on there that I'm gonna love playing to!

Is anyone else gonna get GH5? If so, maybe we can play on the 360 together. There's gonna be some new games to play.
