@Stormbreaker178 @findingaplace Yep, If my memory serves me, Pikmin 3 can be played with the GamePad, Pro Controller or Wiimote.

@Stormbreaker178 Yeah, I just looked at the wikipedia page and apparently it will run Wii optical discs and proprietary WiiU optical discs(which have the same capacity[25GB] as single-layer blu-ray discs).

@icestorm88 I would say that Nintendo is in fact expanding on the idea of the DS but I wouldn't say it's the same thing. Nintendo is known for expanding on their own work. Ever notice how the Wii nunchuck is just the center of an N64 controller and that the DS is strikingly similar in design to some Game&Watch games? My point is that Nintendo builds off of their previous work and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

@zzanzabar , Um... you can clearly see a disk drive in the system pictured above... whether or not this is blu-ray or just standard DVD and whether or not it will support movies I believe is still to be announced. I'm gonna bet that, since Nintendo was trying to make it a point that the WiiU was to be a center of entertainment that it DOES support blu-ray movie playback, but that is just my speculation.
