@Lhomity Okay fine! I got it wrong! I'm only human! Jesus, my main point was that this review is incredibly unfair and seems really biased considering I am finding no problems with the difficulty in the game. The game is challenging yes but Super Meat Boy is challenging too even more so than Gas Guzzlers, that gets a 9.5? I don't dismiss Gamespot as a whole, I am annoyed at the fact that there are games they have reviewed that are very good with completely irrational reasons to bash it such as Re-Volt (6.5 for PC)

@Bozanimal To be honest, I think generalization is for the best here. The review talks about the difficulty like it is a bad thing. Since that is the case according to them, they should go back and play the NES games from the 80s. The game is not punishingly difficult, it is immensely challenging and that is what makes the game flow a lot of fun. I feel this review was inaccurate in its portrayal of the features and was lacking in proper description of the good points such as the hilarious Arnold Schwarznegger one liner voiceover parody, as well as the incredibly stunning graphics which are just summarised as "fair." Yes I sometimes go off the deep end with rants like this, but come on! If it is a AAA title and published by EA or Activision, its pretty much guaranteed a high score regardless of quality.

4/10? That's Gamespot for you, praising the rubbish AAA titles and canning the indie developers. Personally, I am loving the game right now and even though there are some niggling issues (Some spelling errors and my controller triggers swapping every time I load the game) I find this to be a truly thrilling racer. Not to mention they are wrong in saying you start off against much better AI players considering all cars at the start are Fat Fichos which no doubt have no upgrades applied to them. Sure the game is ballgrindingly hard even on Easy difficulty but its not too hard that it proves impossible. I am now onto the third championship and I am absolutely loving it! The weapons are just awesome, the cars look stunning, and the gameplay is just brilliantly intense. The best combat racer since Re-Volt! (Which Gamespot also gave a crap review to -_-)
