I think that it be all those games like Rayman, Klonoa, Crash, Spyro, Megaman, Tomba, Pandemonium, and so many more that make me choose tha playstation. playstation has more variety of decent and legendary games, while N64 in my professional opinion. it be limiting the variety and half the more popular ones are barely even platformers. They both got great games, but i think that platformers on N64 are inflatedsystematically for no reals perpose ya heard? Wat u tink?

There's already a thread for this, and it's not even more than a few days old:

Hello Esquire Tom I would say OOT be bBETTER. The time mechanic was a nice addition, but it made it so the game would not be able show off all the new features and game design changes well. Double edge sword hurt ain't good, and that's why it is under da rug.

It also sounds too good to be true. I don't really want a fanboy war here. I just want to know the truth about the systems ZachMasta
Not sure what ya mean> Neo-Geo Pocket Color, it is nice, it has a Stick instead of a D-Pad, and contains a lot of portable versions of popular home console games. Graphically, It ain't to bad, but it is a bit outdated compared to GBA, which release not long after. It has a limited library and has no charger, but it has a longer life of 30 or so not on standby or on da menu screen. You can get one used cheap, no back lights, but it do have nice screen. Neo-Geo Pocket X, has 20 built in games, which are from the Neo-Geo itself, some with exclusive features. You can change the Aspect Ratio and Contrast, and games load in a snap brutha. The Game comes with a similar but more sturdy stick like NGPC. But works faster! It also has l1 r2 r1 l3 buttons for more options! All games can be paused! NGX, can also plug into a dock that looks like a NEo home console, and play the games onto the Big Screen!!!! It also can use ANY of tha many charge out there that fit in that port. Along with new TURBO CHARGER with the new game packs released!!! You can also use any Gamecard as a trojan EASILY to play other games not yet release, but HOLD IT< they WON'T RUN AS WELL depending on the game. Works with some though. There be a list somewhere but I can't find it. Because of this, I THINK you should just by the games. Also, incompatible hack MAY ALSO kill your NGX! The UPDATE for NGX WHICH BE FREE< allows saving, with Arcade perfect versions of games, that is a BLESSIN! The hooking to TV IS IMPROVED FOR ALL TV'S and runs at 30 and 60 FRAMES PER SECOND for games that originally RUN AT THOSE. Also the SOUND was enhanced and sounds way WAY better than da originals on the portable, through headphones AND ON TV! But the NGX can't play NGPC games, and rare ones like the Megaman Fighting game though. So I am not sure what is priority for you, so that's all I can give you.

[QUOTE="PhotonikTronik"][QUOTE="ZachMasta"]The ngpc has a 40 hour battery. And seriously guys don't be rude too each otherZachMasta
Nobody is being rude, just a misunderstanding. Also, I never talked about NGPC battery life, but I know it ain't 40 HOURS. NGX had an update that fixed a few problems is all I'm saying, if money not an ISSUE, than go for it, becauseto get 20 games on NGPC, you may ened up paying more. Especially fo classics and that rare Megaman Fighting game. But if ya can't throw out more than $50 and ya only looking for a few games, then I would get a NGPC, but like I said, a lot are lower colored versions of console games! But there are also a few others like BIO-MOTOR UNITRON, that you may like on NGPC.

Actually it is a 40 hour battery. Now I'm torn though. Can't decide on ngpc or ngx :-/

Did you look that up? Because it's not actually 40, especially with Play time, it's around 30. But Still, the updates, they be making the NGX much better and better. All free, and more and more games. Also, I just learned something. Not only can you use any old charger, but a SUPER High speed charger comes with any one of the new game cases. Charging in minutes apparently. That's AWESOME MAN!

I agree with the games and screen being better Neo Geo X, I have the whole time, but you keep arguing it anyways. Get past that one.

What I'm saying is there's not a single damn thing wrong with NGPC's controls. You're completely full of it on that one.

And really, you're complaining about batteries on the NGPC? One of the biggest flaws of the Neo Geo X is the pathetic battery life. If it has an 8-hour battery life, then I guess all the Neo Geo X owners out there complaining about it are delusional. Battery life is one of the very few areas that the NGPC has over the Neo Geo X, without a doubt. Like I said, though, it's not a big surprise considering how much more power the Neo Geo X needs to operate.

Also, it is sooo hard to read you're posts. I'm sorry, I was educated, I don't understand ebonics so well.

Emerald_Warrior

WHOA WE BEING A LITTLE "cist" UP IN HERE! That Education you have must have netted you that $70,000 a year job like ME! WHAT? OHHH NOOOOO! IT DIDN'T? In case ya didn't know, I ain't tryin to be mean, but there were a number of updates for it since it came out almost 2 YEARS AGO brutha, it might be a bit out the way, but it's FREE and it IMPROVES the system. I ain't saying you don't know what you talking about like you doin me, I am just saying that improvements were made, SNK been quiet, SO I AIN'T expect ya, to know all the details. SNK is still a niche company.

Are you even following the conversation, or what? What are you talking about updates for? We were talking about controls and battery life.

I think we have a Neo Geo X fanboy here. I mean, I agreed with you about it being the better choice, just that it's a more expensive choice and you're battling like I said the system sucks. And then you go on to try and make the NGPC sound worse than it is with these supposedly bad controls that don't actually exist, and bad battery life which also doesn't exist.

And no, I'm not being racist, I just have a problem reading when you can't string together coherant English sentences. You don't have to be black or white to sound like a moron.

Which you then limit ta two races, odd, those poor indians. The Updates make the BATTERY life longer my man, that's what I was saying, I ain't trying to sound mean, and SNK don't really go out and shout out there news. I also never said bad controls, rea dmy edit, where did I say the NGPC has bad controls? I ain't say that one time mack. I said the NGX is better, that's it. I also never said that the NGPC has bad battery life, WHEN DID I SAY ANY OF THIS STUFF MY BRUTHA??? It's cool, though, but my main argument is to get the same amount of games, 20 to be EXACT, on the NGPC that already come tih NGX is way more expensive in the LONG HALL. Shelling out around $100 to $130 or so for the Gold Edition, aint' that bad! So hopefully all misunderstanding are clear.

You seem to be focusing on controls. There isn't anything wrong with the NGPC's controls. In fact, the clicky little thumbstick is one of the most satisfying thumbsticks I've ever used. I'm really starting to think you've never even played a NGPC, because this is like the 3rd thing I've corrected you on regarding it.

Like I said, better screen quality, and the ability to play actual Neo Geo MVS games is what makes Neo Geo X better. Yeah, it has a small battery life, but then for what it's doing, you'd have to expect that it's not gonna run for like 8 hours or whatever NGPC's lifespan is. It's playing higher quality games at a higher resolution, so it needs more power.

Emerald_Warrior

You haven't corrected me once, you are looking at NEW PRICES for the NGX and USED prices for NPC. The NGX has 8 hours, Especially if you use a charger that is not the docking station! Not to mention you can get the Neo-Geo console itself without all the extra ans still have over 20 GAMES brutha. NGPC has a worse Stick than the NGX which has the SAME clicks, so I can be like you and say you neve rplayed a NGX, but I don't like bing a jerk because I like CHILLIN. NPGC also has nio real adavntage, because downgraded ports of real games NEEDIN BATTERIES! You have no Batteries you ain't playing! And I know that NGPC games come in four, but most that are in GOOD CONDITION costing around $20+ dollars, and on EBay, the ones cheap have the rep of a turtle.

I agree with the games and screen being better Neo Geo X, I have the whole time, but you keep arguing it anyways. Get past that one.

They are really crude and ugly 3D graphics when you compare it with today's standards of course but like many here said, at the time it was a revolution, imagine someone who only played 2D games on a SNES, then imagine a game where you can rotate the camera, look around the environment and et all, it was mind blowing.  The best graphics I saw on the PS1 are on 3 games, all from Square-Enix (Square-Soft at the time) : Vagrant Story, Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy IX.

SQUARESOFT HAd THE BEST GRAPHICS ON THE PS1??????? Surely you must be the CGI (Computer Graphics Interlaced.(C) Danile Woods)
