...Gamertag! Help!

What with the spiffy new update, I want to change the Live ID associated with my gamertag to the right one, but it says that one's already associated with a different gamertag.

How do I take my ID off that gamertag, so I can put it on the blummin' right one?

My gamertag is Pikadam2006. It's linked to my mother's Live ID (gayetemp@aol.com), because she put her credit card details in and so on - I was too young to do that kind of thing myself back then.

My MSN address (Live ID) is Pikadam2000@aol.com. That, however, is somehow linked to the gamertag Pikadam2005, an older, pooer gamertag with no achievements whatsoever.

I've looked everywhere and heard tell that you can relink and old gamertag to a new Live ID, leaving the ID previously on the old gamertag open. I want to change the Live ID for Pikadam2005 (Pikadam2000@aol.com) to Pikadam2006@hotmail.com (just anything, so I can forget about it) then assign the gamertag Pikadam2006 to the email address Pikadam2000@aol.com.

Can I do that? Random Googled forums say 'relink the old gamertag', but don't say how. Xbox.com says I can't do anything. Anything at all. 'Go away and stop bothering our help pages', they bellow in an all-knowing way.
