The band I'm in is finally starting to reap the benifits of practice. Our originals are getting much better and we now have a regular gig here in town starting the 12th of February. Hopfully this will be a nice platform for jumping into a real career in music. After about a year, we have grown much tighter than I thought possible. Our drummer is pretty new, but he's getting much better by the day. We're still only playing for tips, so that's why I call it a semi-real gig.

This gig will also test our stamina. We've not gigged for more than two hours. We'll be doubling that. We, also, finished the set lists we'll be doing. It's pretty diversified between Country and Classic Rock with a couple Blues songs thrown in there as well as a Godsmack song, "Voodoo."

That's what's been happening with me. That and World of Warcraft have been fighting for my time this weekend.
