Today we had the opportunity to see the new advances from Microsoft and some interesting news and I don't know but I should be watching the Worldcup game than this conference.

Lets make a summary of the conference ...... I'm very disappointed was waiting for more and didn't see it, maybe that was the reason to give a slim Xbox360 to all the audience for free. Maybe as always we were waiting for new games and new adventures but we received Kinect that in my perspective isn't that impressive or they need to develop more useful programs to it.

Lets start with the painful part the conference part by part.

Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer, the game looked smooth, this time was in Vietnam war or I believed that, there were some nice options including the use of an helicopter but not idea if that game would be that great.

Metal Gear Rising: I'd like to cut and cut but hey there must be anything else to do than cutting all, I'm a fan of Meta Gear the idea is being an agent not a ninja, samurai, swordsman or whatever but in any case the graphics looked nice, we need to wait how is going to be the final delivered and the final story line.

Gears of War 3: Showed a multiplayer that could be better, they added some options but sometimes isn't what we want for me is the same kind of game that isn't giving us nothing new, the same with new features.

Fable III: I don't know what to think about that, I'd skip any comments about it.

New partnership was shown with Crytek but and a name was showed Codename: Kingdoms.

Halo Reach: The story continues as always, the graphics were smooth but sometimes I'd be sad because the plot stays as the same, even I could think that is a remade of something we already saw, isn't enough. I'm sure that will be a great game but the part that they showed wasn't enough to guess how is going to be the final product.

After that games now I'll enter to the hard part called Kinect, first they spent almost all the time of their conference talking about this ..... thing. Are you sure that all this time since the last E3 were you only working on that?? You must be kidding me.

Kinect at the beginning gave me a nice impression that could be summarize in: Voice recognition, motion recognition, person recognition but that wasn't the same that we already knew??. They showed the characteristics and uses that the system would give to all us, one was the no more controller part but wait was obvious. The use in Zune was showed but sometimes only saying "play" "stop" "rewind hahaha" isn't going to fill my expectative. The mix of VideoKinect wasn't impressive, that we can see each other person in a chat and sharing videos already existed they are only mixing the Windows Live with the Xbox 360, simple. The part that was interesting was the camera that follows the person while chatting but there are some questions, if there were two persons which one is going to follow??, also we need to see that they must had a nice and smooth bandwidth.

The partnership of ESPN and XBox was great, the persons of SportsCenter helped a bit explaining it, but now the real part, is free for the members but I'm sure that option will be only available in USA since there are some international rights with some cable operators that are not going to like the idea so this is going to happen will be work in some zones and in others no, I remark others and they didn't said that detail but at the end the HD quality was expected so please forgive me if I said "I'm not impressed".

Kinectanimals: My advice to all, buy a pet to your children, as engineer the responsibility, and the care that really is needed can't be given by a program or software, I find it good for playing a few times but is a waste of resources, time and more. That isn't needed, only showed the possible options of Kinect for a future.

Kinect Sports: A remade of Wii Sports, so there is nothing else to say, with that is enough?

Your shape fitness from Ubisoft: Is a program that would help you to have a good shape and more but for some reason I'd say that this time Microsoft was seeking other kind of audiences and not the usual of the past years.

Dance Central: I found it nice, also is nice for a person that wants to learn dancing but I don't want to have a small hope with this one.

Finally Kniect would be released this year the 4th of November.

After all that there was a trailer of Starwars for Kinect, something I noticed was that there were a delay in the speed of the sable laser maybe was the video or maybe is the game, who knows.

Turn 10 a game of Forza, used Kinect to capture and change the ways of racing, the graphics were smooth and fast, also the details.

At the end they showed a redesign of the Xbox 360 with a new HDD of 250GB and Wi-Fi 802.11N that is the last release in Wi-Fi technology, will be shipped today, the design looked cool but more like a PS3.

Lets see what would Sony brings to us or maybe why not Nintendo but I was expecting more from Microsoft and we didn't see it not all is Kinect.
