Hey guys, so I think I might have half figured out what the problem is. Seems like Norton removed the virus/trojan but some registry files are still left behind, If i could just find those rogue files and delete them? Would that help? Now the question would be...How to figure which are those files? and how would I delete them?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but it's been driving me nuts for the past 3 hours. I've tried Google to no avail.
Anyways, the issue is, I have a 1tb western digital my passport hdd. I think it got infected with a virus a month ago (didn't have an anti-virus installed at that point)..not too sure, but all that virus did was make a shortcut inside my harddisk and on clicking the shortcut it'd lead me to all my files and no problemo. I was busy with a lot of other stuff at that time so I didn't really get around to removing it since it wasn't causing any major problems.
Anyhow, so I just got myself Norton Internet Security 2 days ago and today as soon as I plugged in my harddisk Norton did what it does best...and I got a Norton has detected a Trojan followed by Norton has removed a Trojan followed by Norton has detected an infection followed by Norton has removed an infection followed by Your computer is now secure.
Well that's good right? NO! Now I can't access my harddisk! It still got that shortcut inside but now when I click it says " There was a problem starting ~$WARDZOXJ.nfc. The specified module can not be found".URGH!
My data's still there because the hard disk is still showing 280 gb free of 931 gb!!! I got loads of real important stuff in it...including some really old photos!!!
What to do? Anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated! THANKS in advance!

Anyone know any games like Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy? I haven't gamed in almost an year now. That was one crack addictive game. The closest to Fahrenheit was this game called Heavy Rain. I have scourged the internet and could not find any game like Indigo Prophecy. Is there any game, like Indigo Prophecy..in terms of the story and progression? Someone recommended me Alan Wake and I got around to playing it but boy, it was nothing like Indigo Prophecy...I didn't even complete it. Any suggestions anyone?

It just keeps getting better. I just started playing the game and...I saved. Now I'm not able to load the saved game. Everytime I try to load the game,the game quits and some weird error report comes up. Ah God. Please help.

Alright so I get Starcraft 2 finally,install it and run. Everythings running perfectly except...the objectives in the single player campaign. The objectives shown during every mission are being shown as some PARAM/21612/blah blah. I googled the problem but no one else seems to be having it.

Any help'd be greatly appreciated.

Borderlands

This is the RPG to play if you're not into RPGs. Weak story,Boring in-game soundtrack,dull characters..but it makes up for all of these with the gameplay.
You can choose from 4 gameplay um methods?(Brute Force,Precision Sniping,Jack of all trades,Girl with good chest) depending on the character you select. Well, it doesnt drastically change the game but theres a difference and a certain feeling of Satisfaction and triumph when you own your opponents with the character you tweaked and honed. The levelling up of the character is what pushes you to keep playing the game...the desire to turn your character into the ultimate killing machine.
Yeah its a descent game..they should've worked on the story though. The story really is very bad.
Oh and there are some 10,000+guns or something..not 10000different types of guns just with different colours and damage and accuracy n stuff.

Thats a good score coming from an All-RPGs-bore-me guy.

a quick google search for that model number only yeilded refurbished results.

Im thinking of buyinga an Asus G60vx laptop.its reasonably priced...and should run games well i think.but the problem is i dont know how to get it.ive tried amazon,newegg etc. but they all have the refurbished versions. I just connected my ps3 to the internet via a wireless linksys router.
Went through all the settings,everything's cool. The browser's working fine and the sites are opening with ease.

But the thing is when i try signing up to the PSN,it doesn't open up saying "An ethernet cable is not connected".
I'm using wireless internet so i don't know why this should appear. Also,the browser's working fine.
Only the PSN and Playstation Store are not working.

Any help'd be appreciated.

I got killed getting out of town so now i'm on the first mission where u fix the car and are then ordered to go somewhere to destroy some camp,i think the mission's called some lumber jack or something.

OK,anyways the problem is after i fix the car and cover a certain distance i am hit by a malaria attack and he always dies cuz his pill box is empty and i start the mission all over again with one of those injections less every time.!!!

Very Frustrating,What to do???How do i continue???I"ve just started the game and it hasn't told me how to get those damned pills.
